Question about value of Sega Genesis

Recently I've been feeling sad for my Genesis collection its been collecting dust throughout the years and I think its time to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it anyways I have a Sega Genesis Model 2 in box (Sonic 2 edition)mint lightly used and 82 games just wondering how much I would get if I were to sell it whole.

Also have a extra Controller. Majority of games have manual and poster all have original case and artwork

Are you sure you have enough copies of Sonic 2? I don't think anyone will want this lot without at least 6 or 7. (Seriously, why so many duplicates of the Sonic games?)

Looks like you have some decent games... question is, where are you planning to sell it? You'd probably get the most on eBay, but CL might be less of a hassle (plus no fees).

You might as well try craigslist first since it wont cost you anything besides a little time. You could also try here http://www.sega-16.com/forum/

There are also different revisions of the model 2 and if you have one of the better ones it could help the sale.

If it was me, I would part out the higher price games on ebay, and then the rest as a lot on Craigslist

I would have to agree with Theenternal, most Genesis games do not have much value. Games like Nobunaga's Ambition, Kid Chameleon, Phantasy Star III are uncommon and can pull a premium. It's not difficult to find most Genesis games with the box and manual. The boxed console sounds nice if the box is crisp.
