Question concerning flying wiimotes

When the nunchuck is on, and you let the wiimote fly, wouldn't it get stopped by the nunchuck since its attached?

For the most part, yes, but that's not what's happened. I don't think any games using the remote and nunchuck have anything that could cause a Wii Sports-like slip.

To make the boxing easier, I've seen people face each other while playing.

I think most of the people letting a remote "slip" out of their hand are among the most uncoordinated people around. Which I guess should be expected with some nerds.

I don't see how it happens myself. The controller isn't as slick as it was back at E3, when they had to wipe it down after someone touched it because of the glossy coating. If you hold on to the damn thing you'll never have a problem, just keep a tight grip on it like it was your member and you'll have no issues.

I almost smashed my friends' glass coffee table during this mini-game. I wasn't holding on to the nunchuck (since it isn't used) and I got a bit too enthusiastic when I launched the cow. The nunchuck got jerked by the cable, went flying, and slammed down on the table.

If you let your Wiimote go flying then you are one of the following
