Question gamestop edge card to power up card.

I got a question here, a coupon month ago I purchased a gamestop giftcard from another trader ion the site, when I receive it, I realize that it is an edge card and it expire on 6/11. Is it possible to me to bring the crad in to update to powerup since the card didn't belong to me originally?
