This may be in the wrong spot..if so..I do apologize. I just need to know this. I have about 50-100 dvd's that I no longer want. I want money for them. I dont want to spend the time to go through ebay, forums etc. Which place out there do you know of that gives $$$ for dvd's??? Preferebly, a lot of money ;) Or a place that won't rip you off.. Here in Ohio we have, cd connection, buybacks, blockbuster, gamecrazy, FYE, pawn shops. Thats all I can think of. In the past FYE usually gave around 2-4 dollars per dvd. My collection of 50-100 are typical blockbuster releases you'd had seen in the movie theatre in the past few years such as the Harry Potters, Bad Boys, James Bond, etc. Gamestop now only gives in store credit. I want some money. Any ideas/thought? thank you.:bouncy:

I've sold a bunch of disks through secondspin.com. They even have an "extra 20%" coupon code every now and then (where they'll pay you an extra 20% on each title). They seem to have the best buy back prices and they send you a check pretty quickly. The only thing you need to know is they want pretty pristine merchandise. If your disks are scratched or otherwise beat up, they probably won't accept them. Check out their site, though, and see what you think.

Dvdplanet.com is pretty good too. Use the "quotemachine" to get the prices they pay. I've found they pay the highest, and after Ebay/paypal take their transaction fees, it's easier just to dump them all at once through their site then to sell them one by one through auctions.

I just took a quick look at the DVDPlanet thing but didn't notice how you go about selling the DVDs to them. Do they pay for shipping to them and do they give you store credit or a check?

I've taken quite a few to CD exchange in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Usually the cash payout is about 2/3 or so of what the in store credit is though.
