Questions about SHMUPs on 360.

I hear some talk about Death Smiles coming to 360 and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a few answers about shmups.(I'm a huge fan already got REZ, Omega 5, Ikaruga, Triggerheart Excelia on XBLA)

Does anyone know what SHMUPs are already available on 360 and if some are in Japan only, does the xbox need any kind of modification or like the PS3 can I just buy an import and go?

Thanks for any help, been trying to google a definite list, but finding it hard to get something concrete.
 
You need an import 360. There are brand new mods that I'm interested in that go way over my head tho. (Install a XD-card reader in the back, and swap the region with multiple cards.) Other then that, you're shit out of luck.

I could compile a list for you, but you're best bet is to just head over to Play-Asia's site and browse.
 
thanks for the reply man. i'm over there right now trying to figure it out, hm getting japanese xbox, that would require money.. which i don't have. ROUGH.
