Quick Poll: Prince of Peria: The Two Thrones

I have the option of getting the PS2 or the GC version. I'm struggling to find a real comparison between the different versions. So, which do you think is better? I'm probably going to get the Cube version unless I hear a resounding opinion otherwise.

My criteria:
- Control (I like the Cube's left analog stick placement better than the PS2s, but can live with the dual shock).
- Load times (less is more!)
- Graphical Eye Candy
- Sound quality
- Extra features...?

Well, I don't know about Prince of Peria, but Prince of Persia is pretty good.

I need you to buy the gamecube version... so the ps2 version gets cheaper sooner... so I can buy it sooner.

Eh, I just said PS2 version because thats what I played it on and I like the controller better. I dont think there are any really big differences though, so it really doesnt matter.

PS2 for $15 w/GGC/PSU coupon isn't too much of a sacrifice if you're a fan of the series, even for a CAG. Of course, $10 can probably be seen over the horizon in the near future...

Neither one is perfect but I'd go with the GC version. If you're anything like me and move your controller around a lot during those tense acrobatics areas, you'll appreciate a wireless controller.

I've played the whole series on gamecube and i think it just looks and plays better on gamecube, i dunno why. I reccomend gamecube.

The GC version is $19.99 at BB too, making it $15 w/GGC. You have to find it in store though.

I prefer the PS2 controller (especially if you have a Cordless Action, which it sounds like you don't). But the first two looked better on GC and had very little other differences. The Gamespot review said the PS2 version had occasional slowdown. So, of those two, I'd go with the GC one.
