quick question about selling a G Cube

My launch gamecube is finally getting disk read errors more often than not and I am thinking about trading it into gamecrazy, Do you think that they would test to make sure it works correctly and if it didn't would they still buy it just for less or can I get nothing for it now?

I'm not trying to be dishonest with it I am not wanting to trade it if I have to trick them into thinking it works, I'm just wondering if they will buy a a broken g cube.

Don't worry, if it stops working completely, the new owner has 7 days to return it. At least at EB and Gamestop.
