R.I.P. Wild Mountain Chicken :(

I'm still pissed that they still have not brought back the Monterey Ranch Chicken Sandwich. By now I think that is about as likely to happen as Dave Thomas coming back to life.

That is damn near the best fsat food sandwisch ever, right behind White Castle burgers. Chains always kill the best meals.
 
I don't think I've ever had it...?

I usually don't order combos (or sandwiches) when I go to Wendys. I usually just get something off the dollar menu (ie side salad with chicken nuggets and/or fries)

I think I've only gone to a fast food place twice since I've watched "Supersize Me" (and once was just to get fries). Of all the fast food places, Wendy's is one of my fav. though.
 
The best fast food sandwich ever was Arby's Pot Roast sandwich. I was gutted when they stopped selling that, and am still gutted that they haven't brought it back.

I havent had any Macs or anything for 6 months thanks to that movie..,.boy that movie is a fast food killer for me....geez..i cant even enjoy a baked potatoe from wendy's just by thinking of that movie..

i'm the opposite. i have like fast food for dinner every night now lol. taco bell, wendy's and mcdonalds are the only ones open when i get off of work :\ oh well, as long as it's yummy.
 
Wendy's got rid of the normal Grilled Chicken Sandwhich.. I think. I can't find it on their menu and the combo was replaced with the bullshit "market fresh" version. This pisses me off to no end.

hahaha, same here. cant beat some of their 99 cent menu stuff. Not really a fan of their "special" sandwiches they come out with.
 
I don't eat a lot of fast food but I will agree that Wendys is off the hook. My current favorite is the double cheeseburger combo (which has caused me to limit my Wendys visits to about once a month) - it is damn good. And big up to all of you in love with a particular specialty sandwich. Parting is such sweet sorrow. If this sandwich and you are destined to be together forever they will bring it back.

I like Wendy's parmesian Chicken sandwich when they have it.
 
Just 'powered down' a couple Jr. Bacons for lunch today.
They still had the Wild Mountain sandwiches on the drive-thru menu but maybe they just didn't take the time to change it yet.
 
I remember when BK had their BBQ burger. It was a cheeseburger with onion rings and BBQ sauce under the bun. They were great and on the dollar menu.

I also miss the Bacon Cheddar Burger Wendy's had.

wendy's always has some good sandwiches that only last for a little while...

i tried to convince the drive-thru girl to let me order a wild mountain bacon cheeseburger, but they didn't have the supplies or something...

and i'm really missing the mushroom cheddar cheeseburger too

Anyone remember McD's McLean Deluxe? I used to get it when I was younger. It was just a burger with lettuce and tomato, maybe mayo. One day it was just gone. I'll never forget the time my mom, sis, and I went through the drive-thru, and my sis wanted to get one, but she didn't want the tomato on it. So my mom ordered a McLean Deluxe "with just the lettuce". Well would you believe it... we got a bun with lettuce.

Not in my area. Unless they brought it back. Damn. All this talk of fast food is making me hungry and tempting my regular diet.

I remember those. The styrofoam container was so big that one would take up all the room on your tray.
How about those horrible Arch Deluxes that they used to sell. They built up those deluxe sandwiches for months and they were nothing more than overpriced garbage.
 
Word up. Anyone ever try a McRib? I love meat in all forms but that was pretty disgusting. If I go to McDonalds I stick with either the cheeseburger or big mac combos - keep it simple.

Same here. :D I love wendy's 99 cent menu, but this sounded good, so hopefully they'll bring it back.
