R* Midnight Club: Los Angeles - Gen. Disc. & Info

has anybody ran into some glitches where when you take pictures and try to upload it to your photo album and save it to a slot the game freezes or doesnt want to save.

Also has anyone's game freeze alot? My game froze 4 times last night due to the photo album and when I was in a police chase after a race it froze again.

I'm amazed at the amount of poor taste people have when they customize their cars .

...JK...some people just do it for laughs obviously...I've seen the cars with the tiny tires as well as the ones with gigantic ones. Did you rate 25 cars already? There's an achievement for doing that.

Yes , I did , I thought you saw that I had it and that's why you got it a day after me .
I was actually looking at the cars , so it was cool when I got it .

I give a muscle car a minimum of 6 and usually the others [240SX I'm looking at you] a 4 . That is unless I see there was alot of effort put into them .

I wish you could could pick the catagory of cars you wanted to rate , I hate waiting 8 cars for a muscle car .

No, didn't realize you had it till now...I was going down the list and realized I haven't had a new achievement in a while so I started going down the list and found that one to be pretty easy.

I want that new Camaro...the 1969 one handled like ass...even after upgrades I couldn't deal with it so I traded it in for the BOSS. Traded in my Focus for a RX8...only to be challenged for pinkslips afterward for an...RX8 :wall:...oh well...guess I'll sell mine or his once I beat him.

Only got those 2 cars at the moment.
 
I did some customzing on some of my cars and yeah... i'm guilty of what Richlough said lol. I'll definitely take the time and effort with the customizing once I unlock the class A and B cars. I'm at 13,700 rep and not even sure if i'm close to unlocking the class B cars yet.
 
I'm going to try to upload my pics again right now. I love all my cars, minus the fuckus that I won. Figure I'll use it for some pinks races down the line.

I've been confused about that. It just has to do with how many components we complete right(4C, 8B and 12A)? If that's the case, the only thing i've done is the Jump Distance... next thing that's coming is the "Opponents Hit" at 54%...

Correct me if i'm wrong please...

All my cars have just stock doors and the run of the mill Body kit unless it's too Gawdy. Man, I'm so selective lol

I have yet to get my Camaro, Right now I'm driving a Grand National :D
 
:bomb: I lost both my good cars in pink slip races. I gotta back up my file to my memory card next time I attempt that. So now I'm stuck with a shitty Datsun. Guess I'll go for the 25 consecutive wins on the freeway races...that way I should have a ton of cash when I'm done and those are pretty easy races for this crap car.
 
I got the Jumpman achievement by accident. I just like flinging my car off of tall edifices. :D Several races up in the hills with that road that dead ends helped, and so did that monster jump next to/into the LA River.

I think I have around 20 cars now, but all I use is the Ducati.

wow you are very far in the game... :)

Im only up to B class and can barely earn money to buy more cars. So far i only have 1. Its so hard in this game to earn money
 
Right now I have about a quarter large in the bank, and that's right after sinking a ton of money into a sweet-looking Boss/Mach 1. I'll have to load it up in a bit.

BTW...how the F do you take a photo?

Press START, then move the right joystick while in the pause menu, it will change to a photo menu. Saving 16 pics nets you an achievement too...I have to get on that.

Was fooling around this morning and thought it would be cool to make the General Lee. I know the car from the show was a charger now a Challenger, but this was the best I could do. This is probably my favorite muscle car in the game.

I think Daisy had a yelow Challenger , before it went over a cliff .
She drove a Jeep for the remainder of the series .
 
Talk about bad luck... after unlocking Vehicle Group 4... my game freezes. I turned it back and my save is corrupt. Now I have to start over on everything!!!!!

Rank from Champion, back to Backseat Driver... lol.

yea Midnight Club LA is a glitchy buggy game. :bomb: I went back to best buy and got another game since the other game froze on me a couple of times but this time Im still getting some glitches where textures pop in and out, voice acting cuts in and out and just last night when i was playing and was being chased by the police, I looked behind me and the cop cars glitched and went through some of the building to catch me.
