Racing/beginer games.

My GF has expressed some interest in gaming... She likes dirt track racing, but doesn't really care for NASCAR. I know theres a game actually called Dirt Track Racing... I cant remember if its ps2 or PC... I'll look it up later, but I'm at work now. (Pages of text are less conspicuous than game pictures)

Anyways, do you guys know of any good games for people just getting into gaming? (she can't beat the first level of mario 2, but she did beat the first level of NES Double Dragon all by herself.)

She also complained to me taht my PS2 was broken. I panicked thinking it was DREing... I asked her what game she tried... and she handed me Mario Sunshine... :roll:

Anyways... I have NES, SNES, N64, NGC, PS1, PS2, DC, Sega Saturn, GBA and neogeo pocket... any game suggestions?

Cute.

I know you said she doesn't like NASCAR, but Dirt to Daytona has some dirt track racing parts in it. If you have an Xbox, your best bet would probably be TOCA2. It's got a whole mix of racing in it. Just not sure about dirt track. Has she tried rally racing? Can't go wrong with Colin McRae 4 or even just GT3 for cheap.
 
Although its not out yet.. Gran Turismo 4 for Boys is supposed to be directed towards the younger crowd. It may work very well for what you're looking for. (Although I'd be awfully suprised to see dirt-track)

I would think they'd try to expand it using "for kids" to make more money... strange.
 
Test Drive: Eve of Destruction is nothing but two dozen different variations of dirt track racing and demo derbies. That might work.

I'm sorry, but after your last thread, I can't help but snicker after reading that she likes "dirt track racing".
