I don't think so. The near-launch copy I got is the LE and every copy I've seen in stores since then is exactly the same.

Still, great game and well worth the price.

If you like this, tracking down a copy of the Raiden Fighters compilation is also highly recommended.

Yes, there is an easy mode and even a practice mode where enemies don't shoot at you. Great for learning their patterns.

Lots of cool features as well, other than just single play.
