I know you guys love these questions. So I'm about to take advantage of Gamecrazy's extra 20% trade in for MVPs and I'm going to get one of these games. I'm pretty big on multi-player (I hardly ever finish single player campaigns unless I REALLY like it).

So tell me, which game has the better multiplayer? I also heard that there's a GOTY COD3 coming out in March, so I'm leaning towards R6. But I wanna hear impressions!

COD3 is one of those games you can jump in and just have fun, most maps are pretty balanced and most of the classes are pretty cool. If you're a beginner to console FPS, and just want something to play casually, get that. R6:V is more hardcore oriented. Theres very little forgiveness for messing up. It can be frustrating if you jump right in as people are rather good. Its also more tactical, and less FPS.

I prefer Rainbow Six Vegas much more. Plus I think Call of Duty 2 is much better than Call of Duty 3, so if you don't have COD2 get that before COD3. But I don't play multi-player much so my opinions are mostly based on single-player.

Well, I didn't read any of the posts sadly because I left to get.............Rainbow Six. I just played about 3 hrs of it and I loved every minute of it. I haven't even hopped onto the MP yet. This is a campaign I can see myself finishing.

I finsihed the SP last night and was mildly irritated by the ending

Definitely R6 Vegas.

I owned CoD 3 for a while and although it's a decent game, the multiplayer connection problems ruined it for me. R6 on the other had was easy to jump into. It may seem a little complicated at first (especially if you've never played any of the R6 games before), but playing the story mode for a couple hours will take care of that.

drbutchevil is right aobut R6 being more hardcore-oriented. But that's a good thing because I've noticed since I started playing R6 Vegas online 3 weeks ago, everyone I played with/against was real cool and I didn't have to deal with any annoying trash talkers or little kiddies like I do in Halo 2.

CoD multi player is very fun. The classes help the balance very much since everyone doesn't just rush for the tanks and blow the hell out of everyone. Some people still try that but it's easy to switch to anti-armor and blow them to kingdom come.

Rainbow Six. I really got into the single player of that until my 360 died.

COD3 is the same damn thing and the new campaigns aren't as good.

I didn't really care for the multiplayer of either game.
