Sudeki at $13 is worth taking a risk on... I'd pick up that Nocturne if it had the soundtrack. Star Ocean is a deal at $30, too.
 
BTW.. I thought Battlefront was one of the worst games I've ever played online... Rented the Xbox version from Gamefly and sent it back a day later. Too much lag online and the AI is too incredibly dumb to make offline play any fun :( Was a cool idea, but poorly executed in my opinion.
 
Burnout sounds sooooooo TEMPTING!!!! I just got NFS:U2 and its awesome but then i played the demo of burnout 3 and i thought it was great too, so should I buy it now? or should i hold off and what should i get it for?
 
I'm probably the only person that didn't like Burnout 3. I guess it was because I thought it would be more about racing and not about crashing. Crashing was fun for about 7min. I quickly tired of it, and traded it in to Game Crazy. I do however really like NFS: Hot Pursuit 2! That was fun even after being a sort of old game.

Anyway, Scorch, thanks for the deals. I don't see anything I'm willing to try out just yet though. Might have something to do with the lightening of my wallet on BF. :p
 
My brother has Burnout 3, he beat the game and got sick of it, not a ton of replay value. He really regrets spending $50 on it. The novelty of crashing goes away after a while.
 
I've rarely, if ever, played it on Live. I'm probably waiting until my cousin gets it and I can play on live against him. Same with Battlefront. I did trades to get it, so no regrets.. I rarely, if ever, spend more than $40 for games anymore.
 
, I didn't like BO3 either. Came with buying an Xbox offa someone, so I just sold it for $35...Online was non-existant, with like 7 games max when I played, most were plain races. Anyway, hopin to get DOA:U, and maybe some other good Xbox Live game...

And to stay somewhat on topic, is buying these used games from Gamefly cool? I mean, they come in good shape usually? Shipping is real cheap...

Yeah, Gamefly.com keeps the boxes and instructions at their warehouse or whatever and just ship out the disc.. so most games are mint condition.

I used the game search thingy, and left the parameters as "Any" and looked from there, so I would assume it showed all the games available. When I tried the Intl. lobbies, all 3 of the ones I tried were empty. Anyway, it just wasn't my bag after 3 days...

Ok I bought SH4 without making a rental account. You were right, Scorch. But meh, I wanted to buy more than one game, like Katamari Damacy with SH4. Oh well, can't complain.

The tax kinda burst my bubble (I wasn't even expecting a tax), but that's still a good $11 or so off buying new in a store. I too was tempted to throw in a cheapy, like GGX2#Reloaded, but I'm taking it slow when it comes to games now...Hope the breakdown puts things in perspective for people not sure whether to buy from them. Oh, and do their prices usually keep dropping? I'm not expecting Halo 2 to go down to $30 or under or anything, but for cheaper, maybe lesser known titles, is it reasonable to assume waiting would result in a cheaper price in a few months?

i'm a member w/ a username, but do not have a current subscription, cancelled it a coupel months ago...i was charged 6.99 w/ free shipping for espn baseball..not the 5.99 or 4.99 listed here for some reason
 
Same here.,I just bought Manhunt and was charged $2 shipping even though it clearly states free shipping until Jan 9th. I'll have to call monday, because I have yet to find a disclaimer where free shipping is member only.
 
Its not member only, you have to create your account prior to checking out. I'm not a member and I wasn't charged shipping.
