Rarest game for Wii U to release on Dec. 31?

So, this is a bit interesting. 

Darksiders Warhammer Remastered edition is still coming out for the Wii U. It releases Dec. 31 for $19.99, or about $16 GCU/Amazon. 

This may very well be the last game to ever release on the platform. And I'm guessing it will do so in limited fashion because, you know, how many people are actually going to want this? 

A game on a flop system releasing after it is already dead might be enough to entice me to buy this.

Dec 31 is over 8 months away... and it's also a Sunday. This just seems like a placeholder date for something that likely hasn't even entered production and will be cancelled.

Buying a game just because you think it will be rare?   Buy every copy and in 30 years you can sell them off and be able to afford a down payment on a new economy line Kia.
