I'm looking for a good, solid, playable sports game for the DC.

All of these are like $5 used on ebgames.com.

I'm hearing the latest 2k games are the best (2k2)

I don't have tome to rate them individually, but the 2K2 games are all good. All of the 2k games were, except for baseball 2K1, but 2k2 was better. Striker Pro 2000 is good, my brother and I still play that one when he's home from school. Dave Mirra was decent, for some reason it took me a little while to get a feel for the trick engine, but once I got the hang of it I liked it. Trick style is more of a racing game than a sports game, if i'm thinking of the right game (hover boards right?). And of course, what can be said about virtua tennis, except 10 out of 10?
 
Yeah, I knew Trickstyle wasn't a sports game, but I just threw it in there.

are the highest on my list. I already have NBA 2k2 for the PS2.
 
NBA 2K2 is MUCH better on the DC. I own the X-Box version and you'll be stunned how much smoother and complete the DC version is.
 
Virtua Tennis is a must have. The best tennis series ever made!

Hands down even better than Top Spin which I rate as the second best tennis series, downfall is long loading screens on Xbox!
 
nhl...never played a dc, but i love the sega hockey series...best on the market

(side note...just realized where you got the body for your avatar soriano...love it man...)
 
NBA Showtime is really fun, outdated, but pure fun. I recommend that, as you can get it for cheap at EB (I bought mine there), and I think Virtua Tennis is the best tennis game, cheaper, and more fun.
 
blitz is a good game, fun :)

nhl 2k is actually a good game, very hard to score when you put it on hard, fun game though.
