I noticed last week during the whole RE2 madness that GameExpress.com had Rave Master for Gamecube in stock. But there's no listing of it on EB or Gamestop, even though Konami said it released this last week (along with the GBA games). Now it's available on Amazon/toysrus.com.

There has been really little press on this... I was wondering if anyone has played this and had any sort of opinions? Is it a US release of the Japanese GC game that was released in Japan a while ago? (Also, how is the anime?)

It's the game that was released in Japan a few years ago titled Groove Adventure Rave: Fighting Live. Most people describe as being like Power Stone.

The battle system looks very open like powerstone but I guarantee its going to run the same way metabots infinity did, therefore it will suck.

It should be noted that this game will only make a limited run. Oddly, Planet Gamecube used to have a review of the import a while back, but it's no longer on the site.

Hmmm.....I'd like to know more about this as well. Rave Master is an OK anime nothing spectacular but power stone was fun as hell so I may get it.

New info. Saw (and picked up) Rave Master today from GameCrazy! So if you're looking for this game and don't want to order online, try them. Cost is the same as online, $29.99.

Haven't played it yet. This might have something to do with my already-long games backlog and the fact that I also picked up Custom Robo (PMed at CC for $7) and Baten Kaitos ($20 at GC, but used credit) yesterday.
