rayman origins or dark souls?

i never got that into demon's souls and i'm a sucker for a good 2d platformer but i've heard amazing things about both games.

I found Dark Souls more compelling then Demon's Souls personally, but it's not like it's going to appeal to an entirely different audience. The combat and required level of patience are near identical.

That said, I expect Rayman to drop in price being an offline game with likely little replay value... so I'm going to wait a few months and hopefully pick it up cheaper.

Having played a demo of Rayman:Origins, I would go with that if you have people to play it with since it's an excellent coop game and one of the best platformers I've played in years.

I want Rayman, too. It is at GS for 30 for Black Friday. I want it now. Anyone got a lead on it Rayman for 30 prior to Black Friday for Wii? I want to play this with my kids and their cousins on Turkey day.
