Rayman Origins Wii $19.99 GameStop/Best Buy
Lets get amazon to price match it!
They probably won't. They didn't price-match the last 2 or 3 times it was $20 elsewhere. :wall:

That sucks. Id buy it from amazon just to avoid tax and being repeatedly asked to preorder games.

This game is worth the $20. I'm cheap so I'm waiting for it to hit $9.99. If my girl and I finish it before that happens, I probably won't snag it. I don't have any gripes about this game. Some of the levels are challenging, but that doesn't deter from the fact how fun the game is. Reminds me of New Super Mario Bros. I had a blast completing them game a while ago.

Edit: Damn autocorrect! Lol

Wow, this game dropped really quickly! Even with good reviews, this game is getting priced to move. Too bad I already have the game though. Great price!

Aside from the hilarious auto-complete on display here, I'm trying to figure out how you are going to finish the game while waiting for it to drop to $10?

To anyone waiting for a lower price: I'm a cheapass, too, and I'm not judging. But I will say that the game is pretty amazing. Incredibly solid gameplay, amazing visuals, amazinger audio. Plus lots of content, plenty of replay value, and no shortage of tough-as-nails challenges for the die-hards. It will probably be cheaper eventually, but it's easily worth $20.

Honestly, the question for cheapasses should be "Is Diablo 3 really worth three times as much as Rayman Origins?"

I rented it during the holidays during the $1 gamefly period and I really enjoyed it. It was $20 before but I just came into a good bit of GS credit so I decided to get it. Sadly there was only a gutted copy near me so, but overall this is a great game that I just wish had online co-op.

I love this game. Have it on Xbox and vita. My favorite way to play it is on the vita, it just works perfectly as a portable experience.

In a time in my life when almost no game save a few can hold my interest, this game continues to make my trade-in cut. It's just pure fun and I think it'll always be in my collection.

really enjoyed this game, but the very, very final level is brutally insane
oh, and the credits last f o r e v e r

How are does the end of game get? That's the only thing that is keeping me away from buying this game.

I forgot to mention this, lol. Gamefly sent me an email allowing me to restart my account for $1. I have until the 27th to cancel. I currently have Rayman and Catherine out.

I'm not at the very end yet, but so far, I would compare the hardest moments to Super Meat Boy--demanding, but with tight controls and low penalties for death. So it's hard, but rarely frustrating.

The final level is very unforgiving.
Went at the final level for about 3 hours one night with my girlfriend and we finally beat it after much yelling.

Ughhh x 2. I'll give it a shot for $20, but my tolerance these days for any platformer more difficult than Super Mario World is low.

Thanks.

You're definitely at the right place on the web....

Well the game is fairly easy, and the "final" level is optional, but still very fun.

The low penalties for death are huge in my book. Mario isn't the toughest in most ways, but losing all your lives can set you waaaaaaaay back, whereas Rayman Origins never sends you back by farther than one section and does away with the lives concept entirely.

Just picked up one, went to one gamestop and the copy was gutted. So I went to another and they still had a $60 price tag on it lol I was like wtf check that shit. Price was wrong of course.

Seems kinda high

I'm waiting for 10 or less myself...

Also, everblue2 is amazing! The main reason I still have my ps2 is cause of eb2 and warship gunner
How is the Amazon exclusive version with Artbook? Worth paying more for that version?
He artbook is cool but nothing spectacular. About the size of a game case and 1/2 as thick.

For what it's worth, I'm about halfway through this game and I keep tossing it aside. I would have traded it in by now but it hasn't gotten bad, just boring. I keep trying to get to the good parts but I'm getting nothing but boredom

It is only difficult in the sense that Cave Story was difficult. As in, the unlockable extra level at the end is moderately tricky and everything else is a cakewalk.

Don't blame this game if you suck at platformers....
I can wait 3-6 months before this game hits $10 at GameFly on their nightly deals or some shit like that.
That's my price for any game, lol. I'm so cheap.

FYI: You may have a hard time finding a copy in-store.

All stores near me list the game as "Low Stock" from looking online, at least for the :ps3: version.

One store was sold out. Another store only had a gutted copy. I bought it with a gift card from doing surveys, so it evened out I guess.
