RE 4 17.99 used at Gamecrazy YMMV

I receieved an ad today it says 17.99 and under on the following games under it although it's probably a misprint on RE 4 maybe they can honor it???

The trick is to pricematch somewhere else. If you go to GC they'll be more aware of the misprint than anyone and won't honor it, but go to CC and the'll accept it at face value.
 
yes and note the RED STRIP on top right hard portion of the ad saying 90 DAY GUARANTEE on used games while trying to PM this!
 
Any idea when this goes inot effect? I'll have to call my store tomorrow and see.... MKart and RE4 seems like a good deal...But RE4 smells like an error. Ive hardly seen any used copies at some local Game Crazy's.

I was wondering the same thing (the used games part) since it says "Same Games, Much Lower Price". Would make a price-matching a no go unless you want to scam. If it is used, the OP should reflect it in the topic title.
 
Quick question: is the "$17.99 and under" going to cause problems when price matching, since that is not a $17.99 price point, it's an ambigious price range...?
 
It looks like it's for used games, since right next to the Gamecube section is the listing for classic games, which obviously have to be used. Along with the ambiguous price, I think it will be hard to PM this.
 
I'd try and pricematch, but we have no Gamecrazy's around here... :sad: I don't think anybody would accept it...
 
Great price for RE 4 if you don't have it. I bought the CE of the game a few months back and haven't regretted it once. Great game. Also, Mario Kart: DD for that price is great. Hopefully this means some universal price drops on this game to $19.99 already or at least to 39.99.
 
You people are fucking HIPOCRITES! Remember when everyone flamed that guy for saying you should take Baten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia to Wal-Mart for a $50 exchange value? Now you're all willing to take an ad for an improperly priced game and cash in on it. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm not saying it's right -- I'm just calling you all out, hipocrites. Don't you people ever fucking flame someone else for circumventing the system again.

All the GCs in my area have none in stock and their used price is $34.99. Just an FYI for anyone looking into this deal. You may want to call before you head to see if they even have any in stock. Has anyone tried to PM this yet and done it sucessfully?

Yeah, why? Why don't you spend the SLIGHTEST BIT of effort explaining why you feel this way, or trying to justify yourself. Explain how this is different from the Wal-Mart guy's idea? When I don't hear from you I will assume it's because you can't justify it, and that you realize you're a fucking hipocrite. Let's hear it!

There's a HUGE difference in comitting fraud and matching a competitor's advertised price.

Except that the general concesus is that the price is a mistake! Which means they're not matching the price at all. If you told the price-matching store that the price might be a mistake, and to call Gamecrazy, there would be nothing wrong with that. Tell the guy "I'm not sure this is right, but I'm not gonna complain if you match it." That's fine. But "Hey guys, let's take advantage of this misprint. There's no way it can be right. I'm not even gonna bother going to Gamecrazy to find out, I'm just gonna go to a competitor and hope they're stupid enough to give it to me. I'll make out like a fucking bandit! This is gonna be fucking great! I hope it works..." is FRAUD.
