if thats how real life military soldiers look like to you then i seriously suggest you stop taking acid or whatever drug that your on.

Call of Duty 4. Not only does it have some of the best graphics we've seen, it's also very realistic(weapons are acurate etc), has a really fun online mode, the single player is kind of short but it is as high quality as it can get, and it happens to be on special at target for $37:D

the thread shouldve been closed after this post

Call of Duty 4 isn't exactly realistic, but it's probably the closest you're going to get on the 360. You should probably buy it regardless.

Red Orchestra on the PC is the only "realistic" FPS I've played that I enjoyed even a little bit.

The Outfit is pretty spot on.... :D

A mod needs to delete all the posts then respond with simply COD4 and lock the thread. I got back online tonight affter not playing for several weeks while I was actually trying to play some other games..... Damn I forgot how fun and addicting the MP is.

If you look away from 360, there's more options than you might think.

On PC:
SWAT 4, most definitely. Aside from the fact that you have to follow a bit more police procedure (and have cases following more mainline scenarios such as hostages and hostile suspect retrieval), it might as well be a R6 clone. Which is a good thing, in my book.

Battlefield 2 is also a fairly realistic game, almost to its detriment. There's a constant fight in the community over people who think they're getting shafted in game balance. Really they're just trying to play it like Counterstrike and finding it doesn't work whatsoever.

I have to laugh at anyone saying that Call of Duty is realistic, or compares to R6 in any way, though.

CoD 4 is about as realistic as Halo 3, if you want to get into the details. Nonetheless it's an awesome game you should pick up.

Has anyone played The Third Reich mod for the first Unreal Tournament? Was a lot more brutal than Red Orchestra.

COD 4 is far from realistic. This guy wants slow action games where everyone uses silencers and only camps and works as teams, no running out.

Umm. I don't think COD4 is the game for you. Its ridiculously fast-paced, and pretty much non realistic at all. Certain soldiers can get shot more than once by a sniper round? Hmm...

Sorry, but if you like RS6, you might be waiting around til RS6 Vegas 2.

Let's be a bit more realistic here...he should only be playing Call of Duty 4 CAMPAIGN, not MULTIPLAYER.

Call of Duty 2 is also feasible, but it certainly doesn't feature the same dependency on your comrades (i.e. teamwork over Rambo) that CoD4 does.

Unfortunately, even on Vet CoD4 Campaign is very short, I don't think it's worth $60 alone (with multiplayer it's a bit closer, but still not worth $60).

CoD4 and to a lesser extent the earlier CoD titles

I like Rainbow 6 vegas for the cover system and the slightly slower paced gameplay.

Ghost recon series is ok but I am not all that into them.

Oh yea BF2 MC is hella fun.
