Sonic 2 is crazy hard, though. I honestly have a hard time getting past the second boss battle.

SNES games take a 2032 battery, they are fairly common and can be replaced but u need a nintendo screwdriver the take the cart apart. I think wwwlik-sang.com sells them for like $6

Enjoy FF3, that's my favorite game of all time.... mine's battery still functions so you might not need to replace yours.

Those Batteries last 10-15 years, depending on how much the game has been played. I also believe some of the newer battery save games will recharge the battery when its actually being played.

My Final Fantasy and Zelda 2 for NES have dead batteries, but I don't think any SNES games should be having dead batteries yet.

Very good haul, I have fond memories of the frist Sonic Gamegear game, fond memories of wanting to throw my gamegear out the window. Happened to me twice during the same roadtrip, got all the way to the end, last level and batteries ran out.
