Successor to the original thread by espionage.

I will keep track of the price drops on New Merchandise only here and try to update it at least once a week.
I finally got some free time, and also a kick in the ass from J7 helped as well.

I'm not sure how to store all the info, so we'll see.
This first post is just going to have most everything listed under price drops at the GS website, so many of them are old news.

By next week, I'll filter out the newest price drops.
I'll also add PC games, and find a better way to format.
Any tips are appreciated, and I'm encourage people to post new finds here as they find them.

I don't know how often GS has different prices online than in-store, but Valkyria Chronicles for instance says Online Only, and many of them also have that text about including the case and manual, which is usually indicative of some sort of online sale.

They did mark down a ridiculous amount of games though. I've had my eye on The Beatles: Rock Band, since that's down to $45 online now.

This is good info, but these are all used prices and this thread is/was supposed to be new.

Damn I can't believe I missed that. It's messed up that many most are online price only but they're not in stock...

If anyone can confirm in store that would be great. Has anyone ever ordered PS3 games online and gotten a game that had not been refurbished?

I was so excited when I saw them I didn't even see that as I just posted as fast as I can. I guess this is the best place for it even if it is used though.
 
I'll do the new prices tonight.
Nothing much has changed though, I check every now and then. Mostly shovelware drops for new items.
 
I've been watching these huge number of price drops (especially the $2 ones) for a few days now, but the B+M stores haven't changed the prices yet. For example, Saints Row 2, GTA IV, Left 4 Dead, and Fable 2 are all $24.99 online and $26.99 in stores. A ton of games are also listed as $32.99, which I've never even seen before. I'm not sure what this means at all. A few theories though:

1. Maybe GameStop is lowering the prices of used games online to be lower than ones in stores so more people will shop online?

2. Maybe these are part of an unannounced online sale that are only temporary prices?

3. For whatever reason, the prices just haven't been sent to stores and it might get fixed any day now? Maybe it's too much for one day so they're spacing them out?

If I see anything change, I'll post it here.
 
for everyone mentioning the $5 off the used games (post above) as of this morning this is ONLINE ONLY. I talked to the manager this morning and he had no idea what i was talking about (I wanted to pick up infamous with some credit I have) and he rang it up and it rang up $54.99 used still. it may be ymmv. i dunno. this was the bridgewater commons, nj store.
 
i havent hit a store yet to double check but i noticed that the newish games used that are now 49.99 seem to say both online only pricing and not available online so what gives?
