Rechargable Batteries for 360 controller.

My Play n Charge battery died and I got it about a year ago. Is this normal for them or an exception? If it is an exception where can I get replacement batteries for cheap? If it is normal thinking of going with rechargable batteries any recomendations?

It's pretty normal. I have two of those and they both hold a charge of only a few hours now. I switched over to a generic Nyko one and have had no issues.
