Recieved RZ coupon, need help

I just recieved in the mail a RZ discount card that look's like a gift card. It's recieve 10% off plus 15,000 bonus point's.


Now my question is can I use this discount on CD's or DVD's that are not new releases ?


It doesnt give indication on the card if I can use it on CD's or DVD's.
 
I got a $5 off RZ certificate coupon, and it also gave me 10% off the DVDs I bought when I used it.

The coupons always say that, but it will scan fine on new release/sale items.

If it's the same coupon I got, there is a little 1 next to the 10% off, and that 1 leads you to items that qualify... I didn't see DVD's, CD's, or Games anywhere on there, just stuff like Televisions's $399.99 and up, PC accessories, that sort of thing.

The whole bottom of the coupon had items that qualified.

if it is the same coupon I have, it doesn't start until tomorrow (August 4th).
 
So I used the coupon today and the cashier was nice enough to give me the 10% off of Beavis and Butthead Season 3, yeah a new release.

I got B&B and Fast Time's at Ridgemont High for $26.50 plus tax.

So I guess ill be getting close to 18,000 point's after the bonus.

I used it on a psp game today.
As far as I can tell, if it is not excluded, then it is included.

Bah... cashier didn't let me use this on a DVD today. Ah well. Depending on when they close today, I may run back and grab some $5 DVD-Rs, basically free after the RZ points.

Same thing to me yesterday... he even rang it up and it wouldn't take the discount off of V for Vendetta, at which point he read the coupon and told me it wouldn't work.

I just told him to throw it in the trash and I'll go get the movie cheaper at Circuit City.
 
Why is bestbuy such a fucker with their coupons? Seriously we should actually do something about this. They give me shit for using GGCs they give me shit for using the back to school 30% off coupons, so why even make coupons if your not going to take them or say that this does not apply to this item even when the coupon is vague or do sent say you cant use it for this or that. SCREAM "BAIT AND SWITCH!"
