My wife's birthday is next week and I want to take her out somewhere nice. Places I am considering are Tao, Monkey Bar, Rosa Mexicano, Gramercy Tavern, and the Buddha Bar. Any other suggestions (Asian is fine but no sushi places like Nobu)?

Can you afford it now that you're unemployed?
I can. I'm only taking 2 weeks off between jobs and I have 3 weeks of vacation time coming to me so I won't even miss a beat. :D

In fact it sounds like you'll be getting paid for 2 jobs in 1 week! Wanna lend me $5, to get my hooves polished?
What type of food does she like? If she likes Indian food, this may be good:

I don't know. Looking at their menu, I see only a few Indian foods, and what kind of Indian restaurant offers beef items?

Does she like teh steak? (She should, if you married her.) I went to the Smith and Wollensky today in Columbus and it was great. The NYC one is the original.
