Recommendations on desk fans?

Well here in Massachusetts summer has definitely started and the jungle-like humidity has set in . Anyone have any recommendations for a reliable, affordable, etc. desk fan that I can use in addition to the ceiling fan I have in my room? AC is out so don't bother suggesting that =D.

I noticed there are 10 dollar honeywell's at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-HT800-Super-Turbo-Performance/dp/B0000BYDUC/ref=pd_sim_dbs_k_3_img) that seemed decent although apparently they're really loud. Anyone have one of these?

I have one of those. It is strong but it is really loud. I would not recommend it.

I have another where the front cover rotates to spread the air around. This is it:

I would highly recommend this one. Strong but quiet.

I, too, have that Honeywell and agree that it is loud, but it all depends on how easily one gets distracted. I have it on now as we speak and have gotten used to it that I had to check to make sure it was still on, but then again, I've slept through earthquakes Overall, it gets the job done, though.

I just bought a Vornado Flippi V10. It's quiet on low settings, can rotate to spread the coverage area, and folds up to blend in with the other things on my desk and in my office.
