I kind of enjoyed the game the few hours I played. The battle system is kind of similar to say.....Valkyrie Profile (nowhere near as good). Think the battles in this one where better than Agarest Zero, which I felt had a decent story but the battle system was extremly slow. The collector's edition goodies are ok, the doll is alright, the artbook imho is very decent (kind of presented like a fanzine mag type thing), though the Box it comes in is extremely cheap and almost guaranteed to dent (mine came with a small bend in the corner). At this price I say buy it, but yeah Agarest War 2...is not terrible by any means, just not great either.
