Same... Not only because my interest in the game was mild at best, but also because of the three parts being spread out over two/three days and the odds of the last piece being put up when I'm not around/have the time to search is pretty high.
But I'm glad to see that he's doing a game like this and wished he did more PSN games with all parts of the code like he's been doing with the XBLA stuff recently.
Hmm, I found the first segment of a code but I think it might be a leftover from another contest because it's 5 characters long. Aren't PSN codes typically 4 characters per segment?

Yep.

Aw, shit, where did you find it? If you tell me, there's a Konami code just for you. KrissX, Assault Heroes, or Rocket Knight.
Some of the older contests had them hidden in white text and in slideshows. I didn't mind looking through the old articles, but no instruction on whether there was a return to the trend of hiding in white/slideshows.
If it's anything like previous contests I've tried and failed to win, the code could be literally anywhere. In one instance, he replaced the hypertext for a link to the code, so you'd only find it by mousing over the link. With 130 articles or so to go over, I don't think I have the fortitude to go over every one with a fine tooth comb.
I went through every article highlighting everything, checking every slide show, and half of the links (didn't think to check until I saw your post). All I found was one thing that resembled part of a code and it has five characters. >.>
Man, anyone having any luck with this?

I think I found the 2 up so far, waiting on the last segment.

You think? Out of curiosity, how hard were those ones hidden? Not asking for specificities, such as which articles, or the fragments themselves, just curious if they were out in the open or composed of the first letter in each sentence in a four-line paragraph.

They were both very easy to miss. You'd have to read each line in the articles pretty carefully.
I say I think because sometimes old codes didn't get removed after a contest, like how several people found segments of a code for XBL.
it wasn't a five digit segment, but rather a seeming random string of 4 that in reality was proper. I thought the PDD 1 part from the review of FF13 was part of a code, but turns out that's really part of the developer's name.
I'm running the contest, so it would be mean for me to redeem it.
lol
I am getting frustrated with these contests! I enjoy reading your articles (the Heavy Rain ones were the best!), but these contests frustrate the hell out of me!

I'd make it easier if it wasn't a $60 value game. I promise to make the next ones easier (like plain sight). I have 10 games in the pipeline.
I've been having no luck finding the last fragment I need. Don't really feel like going over every article again looking for the last one without some form of hint. Anyone want to corroborate on high level stuff, such as what month you found what you found?
Heh, good luck to the people hunting for the code. I got kind of discouraged when there was one of these a few months back and after scrubbing the site for two hours getting codes that were already redeemed with no notice otherwise. Really bummed me out.
I put my 2 segments in the wrong order and thought someone already won, so I had a drink and tried again! Thanx so much bluedotlounge!
What was the code and where did you find them?
I gave in and tried to find this today. I managed to find two, both spelt phonetically.
One was in the Alpha Protocol review.
The other was in the Red Steel 2 review.
Spent forever looking for the last section.
Apparently there was a leftover code...
I hate to be rude, but is it that hard to keep a post-it note with a list of the articles that have something added, then remove what was added when someone redeems the code?
The Red Steel 2 fragment was from an old contest. I got hung up with that one too. Brought it to BlueDot's attention whenever the three fragments I had weren't working. I got rewarded with a code for Assault Heroes, so I can't complain too much.
