Red Dead Revolver - any good?

I know it's on sale this week at CC and I'm kinda interested in checking it out, but I thought I'd ask how it was first. I know it has a 71% on Gamerankings.com but I'd like to know what you guys think. You think it's worth picking up?

I think it's awesome, but it might only be a rental if you aren't into the setting. It's a lot like Max Payne, complete with bullet-timey stuff. It also seems about as long as Max Payne.

I liked it.

I think it was better than Max Payne by a lot.
The ol western feel was pretty cool.
There is a 4 player mode which is fun. Would have been lots better if it were online.
This would be a great by if it were $20.

Nothing and mean NOTHING is better than Max Payne 2... NOTHING

If you can, get the Xbox version. The PS2 version is very inferior.

I'm all for the theory that the Xbox version of games are always a little better because of the graphics, but what makes the PS2 version, quote, "very inferior"?

Read the GI review of it. The sound is much better, the graphics are a little sharper, and some other stuff.

Well, that isn't too bad. I would've gotten the Xbox version, but to price match it at Best Buy, I had to get the PS2 version. Either way, I think saving $20 is worth missing out on the Xbox features.

i rented red dead revolver i beat it in 2 days it was worth the 6 dollars to rent it for a week

Just beat it...short but sweet game.
It has a few issues, but overall fun and very pleasing to look at.
Catchy music too.

Yeah I just beat it last night also. If you like Max Payne or a good action game then this is it.
