The systems don't release until November 7, so there's no way you're going to get it delivered before November 8.

Yeah it seemed odd to me too. But Amazon sent me an email stating that they were receiving the item sooner than expected. Hence, the estimated time of arrival changed to Nov. 3 to Nov. 6.

Nintendo typically doesn't enforce street dates on color revisions to its handhelds or consoles. Basically, if a store gets it in, they are free to start selling it. Of course, most stores will hold for the release date because they have Sunday ads pushing the release.
