If that was your wish list you must be around my age . I posted most of what I received on my list but I already had all the Futurama seasons, several Beatles records, traded my nes godzilla for the GC version years ago and I have plenty of Patron and margarita mix. I almost forgot, I did buy myself the new mario DS game at Target for $25 :D.

Thanks for the bump...

That's too bad that you had a bad New Year's Eve, I know several people that got speeding tickets that night. I ended up not doing too much myself since some of my friends and family got the Flu after Christmas and are still sick. Oh well, try to have a good time with your awesome Christmas gifts ;).

New Year's Eve was going pretty good actually until I got just a little too drunk and said a few things that I shouldn't have, which caused me to get into a fight with one of my friends and I sort of broke a bottle across his face. I don't remember much after that, but appearently his wife took him to the hospital to get some stitches. I woke up yesterday feeling like shit, hungover like crazy, with blood on my shirt and a cracked tooth.
I also kinda hit on my girlfriends sister. Like, a lot.

 That's like something that would happen on a T.V. show, hopefully the rest of the year is better. Get that tooth looked at, I chipped a tooth once and after turning various colors the tooth had to be pulled.

I do some crazy shit when I'm drunk :) This isn't the first fight I've gotten into while drunk, although this is the second one that I have actually won. :bouncy:
I'm actually pretty happy about what happened on New Year's Eve, its better than what happened last year. I kinda feel bad for my buddy though, he got messed up pretty bad and hes still in the hospital.
can you do an elhaym pixel art?
From Xenogears, right? I'll look for a sprite and see if its possible, but I doubt it. Thanks for the interest though, I'll let you know if I can do it or not.

Hospitalized! Man you're lucky you didn't get in serious trouble. At least you didn't go to Vegas and re-enact The Hangover ...and you can count me in for that lowball sale ;)!
Bump for DBM! I see that you'd be a competitor if I started pursuing Dragon Quest merchandise. I respect that! Good taste!
Yeah, I love me some Dragon Warrior merch, I actually made a large plack out of beads that says "Thou hast done well in defeating the Slime"
can you do an elhaym pixel art?
Sorry, I looked into it and can't seem to find a good enough sprite to do it off of. I'll keep looking though and I'll let you know if I find one.

The guy I got into a fight with deserved it, and he knew he did, so no trouble. I've talked to him since then and he apologized for what he did.
If I did re-enact the Hangover though, odds are I would have been the one left on the roof.
Glad to hear you'll be there for my lowball sale, I'm still trying to decide what to actually sell though.
thanks for looking! also, not so much a big fan of half-life. I bought The Orange Box with the soul purpose of playing Portal.
I definently understand that, I've always thought the Half-Life games were incredibly over-rated.

Well to each their own, I loved the half-life series. I have fond memories of when the first half-life came out in 1998 and how great the graphics were, also I think that this was the first game I had ever played that had anything close to realistic physics. At least you liked Portal so all is forgiven .

The physics were great, it was everything else that was bad. :)
Portal was fun though, I enjoyed it but I still think it was over-hyped as well. People kept telling me how it was the most amazing puzzle game ever, and it really wasn't. Don't get me wrong, it was a good game, just not as good as I expected it to be.
Also, some news on the lowball, hopefully I will be able to start it on next Sunday, the 17th. I'll start getting a pre-lowball list together in the next few days.

I don't really play puzzle games so to me it was great :D. What puzzle game did you like better than Portal? My secret to enjoying games is to have low expectations for everything and then be surprised when I actually enjoy it . That's great news about the Lowball sale I'll be sure to check back soon for updated info.

I'd still rather play Tetris on my NES than play portal again. :) I also had some fun with puzzlequest, polarium, and lumines. I can also admit that I occasionally play Bejewelled while I am bored at work.
And I should hopefully be able to get a few things listed for the lowball sale tonight, but I'm still not really sure what all to list. I know most of the items in my tradelist now will probably get put in the sale, but I'm not sure what to add from my personal collection.

Small update to the OP, I added a few more DS games and all of the spare manuals that I have, all of which will be in my lowball sale whenever I decide to have it.
Also I now have a new avatar, one of my many, many pictures of felicia day. :)
CML for L4D2. Will do games + Paypal if needed
The only thing I saw on your list was Modern Warfare 2, and you don't seem too eager to get rid of it.
I'll be listing L4D2 in my upcoming lowball sale if no one takes it, so feel free to come by and bid on it. :D

I played half life, but I never got into it. Portal was fun, but definitely isn't the best puzzle game I've played by far. It was hilarious and enjoyable, but I don't have the urge to play it again for some time.

Braid, on the other hand, ranks high high on the puzzle scale. It's messed up in all the places you don't expect it to be.

I've been hearing some really good things about braid, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm still holding out for some kind of a Xbox Live Arcade Deal of the week to pick it up for cheap. I may just have to break down and buy it for full price, is it worth it?

I actually tried an indie game today on xbl, called the impossible game, it was surprisingly good. It has virtually nothing to do with this conversation, but I just figured id throw it out there.

Oh, I also added some posters to the OP, my PS2 stuff will probably go up tonight, along with any other gaming swag that I have to list for the lowball. I might push it back to the last week in January, I'm not sure yet. I'm also contemplating listing my GBA Micro, would anybody be interested in bidding on that?

 I forgot all about Tetris! It was the first game I bought when I got the original gameboy :D. I still play it to this day and on multiple platforms, I just recently got past the 200,000 point mark on my psp:cool:

I used to own lumines and while it was fun I just never got into it. Portal was unique in that it was a puzzle/FPS hybrid with some humor thrown in. I read all the writing from previous test subjects and discovered a few hidden secrets which really made me want to replay the game several times to make sure that I found everything.

For your lowball, you should do a pixel art of the CheapyD "avatar" at the top of the site. I'd bid for sure. Other than that, an actual one of Link would be awesome.

How could you forget about Tetris??? That games amazing!! I actually haven't played it in a while, I guess I know what I'm doing tommorow night: I'm gonna get drunk and play tetris on my NES, just like the good old days:D
Portal did have some good humor in it, and I loved the song at the end, but I didn't really have time to discover any secrets or anything as I just rented the game. Judging by how much people love the Orange Box im going to have to pick it up at some point to give it another chance.

Also, list is now updated with PS2 games and 360 games, most of the stuff that I wanted to put in the lowball sale is now in the OP, all thats left is getting some more guides to sell off. I'm also still not sure about listing my Gameboy Micro though. :whistle2:k

Thanks for the requests, I'll make a link and throw it in with the rest of them that will be listed. A Cheapy D would be pretty massive, like around a foot tall, I could easily do it though, would any other cags be interested in bidding on it?
I lowballed my Micro w/charger and pouch and it sold for around $50, just to give you an idea of CAG prices.
Thanks for the feedback, $50 sounds pretty good to me. :D

OP is updated once again, I added in a working list of things that I'm not sure about selling and put the time that the lowball might start. Pictures of everything should be up by Friday.

You had a very good buyer though. ;)

Nice stuff as always, I'll be sure to participate, at least to bump some of the prices for you.

I've been playing Tetris so long that I didn't even think of it as a puzzle game, it's more of an addiction . I say wait for Half-Life 3 ___ box collection or get portal when they have the next Steam sale by then Portal 2 should be out ;). Gameboy micro! I remember when those came out , when I got the gameboy player for the Gamecube I got rid of all my GBA stuff since I can't take looking at small screens anymore

Great, always good to know that you'll be there to drive up my prices. :D
I would for sure bid hard on this:

Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar Artbook

Great, I'll throw it in with the rest of the guides that I'll be listing on Thursday.

Sadly my drunken tetris night got pushed back to tommorrow, I've been bogged down with work lately.
I know what you mean by addiction though, I have to play Final Fantasy Tactics every few months, otherwise I'll go insane. :D I've beaten it a total of 34 times since it was released in 98 for the PS1, and I own 7 copies of the game total. (4 on the PS1, 3 on the PSP.)
I'm thinking about grabing portal when they have Portal: Still Alive as an Xbox Live deal of the week in a few weeks. But I wouldn't mind giving TF2 and HL2 another shot, so I might wait for a cheap copy of the orange box. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. :whistle2:k
I never really used my GBA Micro, I honestly don't know why I still have it. I think i've played it a total of about 20 hours, all of which was on Tactics Ogre. I ususally prefer playing the old Gameboy color games on my SP.

That's okay there's always time for drunken Tetris on the weekends  Unfortunately, I don't think that there is an end to Tetris, I've played it hundreds of times and no end in sight yet.

Portal on Xbox:whistle2:k how are the controls, I can't imagine playing that game with anything other than a keyboard and mouse. You probably kept that micro for the same reason that I still had a DK Game and Watch until recently... nostalgia and good memories:cool:

Congrats, you're the only person I've ever seen more addicted to that game than I am. I've probably beaten it 20 times, which now feels somewhat pedestrian. ;)

It's my second favorite game of all time, after only FFVI. Oh, and all of those 20 completions were with every character at 99. :hot:

I think the highest score I ever got in tetris was 240,000 and some change, so as far as I know there is no end.
Controls for Portal on the Xbox are pretty standard fare for any FPS on the 360. I never play FPS games on a computer, so using a keyboard and mouse is really difficult for me.
And I know about nostalgia, I stil have my Atari 2600 hooked up to my tv so I can play Boxing and Adventure. :D If you still had the DK Game and Watch, I'd probably offer to buy it off of you anyway. ;)
more ps3 and psp :)
Sorry, Most of my PS3 games are long gone and I don't have any other PSP games that I'm looking to get rid of right now.
Congrats, you're the only person I've ever seen more addicted to that game than I am. I've probably beaten it 20 times, which now feels somewhat pedestrian. ;)

Most of mine were at level 99 as well, though more recently I've been trying to challenge myself a bit more. The last time I played about 2 months ago I went through the entire game with just Ramza, which was astoundingly difficult. Its my absolute favorite game ever, followed by Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 for the Gameboy Color.
I'll also admit something very terrible right now, I've never played Final Fantasy VI. Is it really that great?
More pixel art bro ;)
You got it, I'll be making some more tonight and I'll try to get a full list of all of them up soon, along with pictures. I'm aiming for at least 10 different pixels.

Oooh that is a sin. Not playing Final Fantasy VI is depriving yourself of the best Final Fantasy made. I highly recommend playing it on SNES or GBA. The load times in FF Anthology for PS1 were horrible.

Speaking of pixel arts. Any way you can take requests on those? I assume using old 2D Sprites from games would probably be the easiest way? There are some characters from FF VI that would be ideal and I know bv and I would probably bid on them :)

I have no idea what it takes to make those but I think one of the baby chocobo from FF XIII would be awesome :D

Not to sound "noobie", but is your list of DS games on the first post gonna be included in the lowball sale? I would surely bid on most of it, if not everything!!

I'm glad you got your stuff and hope you enjoy. Also, I'll be bidding in on your lowball as well, or like BV said helping raise the price.
