interested in metal gear solid 2 and FF IX game guide. CML and pm me if you are interested
The only things I saw on your list that I was interested in were UFC and Blazblue, and I'm not too interested in either one, let me know if we can work something out.

Bump, Prices added to most of my want list due to people pming me asking if I want to buy their copy of Tales of Vesperia for $50. I'll be updating everything in a few more days, I've got a lot of stuff to list in the lowball sale.

Thanks for the bump while I was sick :) I looked at your pixelart photo's and noticed that you made both GIR and a blue Spartan, they both look awesome!

I was suggesting making a poster size background to display the pixelart when you take pictures not to sell the poster . As far as the price goes, right now is a tough time to sell anything so I understand why you're selling for so cheap.

I had to do the same thing with my comics when there was that massive drop in prices a few years back. That's why whatever I had left I either kept for myself or gave away to friends and family. I couldn't believe how little I was being offered for 20 to 30 year old comics so I decided that it just wasn't worth selling them and that I would hold onto them for awhile longer.

You know I've had the photo of GIR, the Spartan, and a bunch of pixels on a poster-board, for like 3 months now, right? I haven't actually had a chance to take any new pictures yet, I was planning on waiting until I ordered some more beads. Although I did take your suggestion and make some of them into magnets, I actually just finished making a few magnet pixel arts and they'll be getting shipped tomorrow. If the person who bought them likes them then I'll probably turn most of my pixel arts into magnets.
I actually have had better luck selling my pixels in my lowball sales than I have just listing the prices on my tradelist. I guess some people would just prefer to buy them in a lowball than order them from me.
Speaking of Comics, are they worth anything anymore? I've got a decent pile of fairly old comics just sitting in my closet, I may list them in my next lowball or try to sell them on CAG. Do you know of any good sites to check values on Comics?

Also, once again I am slightly tipsy, so some of what I wrote might have not made complete sense.

EDIT: I figured I would add the list of my possible pixel arts so that it would be on the most recent page again. These are all pixel arts that I am thinking about making for my next lowball sale, would anybody be interested in bidding on any of these:

Link
Any of the Cast from Final Fantasy VI
Castle Crashers knights
An Axe wielding Patapon
Half Life Lamda Symbol thinger
Bomberman
Any of the bosses from the many mega man games
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Juggler moogle
Gears of War Symbol
Transformers Decepticon or Autobot logo
Mario 1-Up mushroom
Domingo from Shining Force
Space Invaders
Characters from Final Fantasy Tactics
Ryu from Ninja Gaiden
Lyn from Fire Emblem
Gir from Invader Zim-Will probably do this
Kirby
Cast from Chrono Trigger
Earthbound cast (Probably Ness and Mr. Saturn, but any of them would be do-able)

Some Games that might possibly be in the lowball sale:
Assassin's Creed 2: Master Assassin Edition-New, Sealed, Xbox 360 Version
Valkyria Chronicles-New, Sealed
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2-Complete, Mint, Xbox 360 Version.
Grandia Guide-Great condition

Sorry about not noticing them sooner, I usually just check your latest post #-oAwesome... how about some magnetic Metroids in your next lowball. Comic prices have suffered lately, unfortunately most of the older comics are worth half or less of what they used to be worth.

I use this website for looking up comic prices: http://www.newkadia.com/
it's easy to search but the prices are a little on the low side. You type very well for being tipsy, better than most people online seem to do while sober

I'll be sure and put at least one magnetic metroid in the next lowball, I might also see if I can make a keychain metroid to sell as well.
Thanks for the link by the way, I'll check some of the prices soon and see if I have anything worth selling.
I've been using the internet drunk for several years now, I've had plenty of practice. I can also recite the alphabet backwards while drunk, a nifty little skill that has come in handy more than a few times.

Also, since you're pretty much the only one reading my latest posts, do you think I should have a raffle with my next lowball sale? I was thinking about it and kinda like the idea, but wanted to do something that was a little more involving for the participants, got any ideas?

I read your posts!!! :D

And yes, I am obviously a huge proponent of the lowball raffle, I firmly believe it made me a ton of extra money in both of my sales.

YAY!! Somebody else reads my drunken ramblings :D

I think I'll have a raffle, although I might try to make it more fun or interactive. What do you guys think of having a raffle, and having some trivia questions to get free raffle entries? Thats the best idea I've had so far to make the raffle more exciting, I'd of course welcome other suggestions.

Bump, I should hopefully get around to updating my collection tonight. I'm also gonna start preparing for the lowball, I'll probably start it towards the end of March.

Personal Collection is completly updated. I'll update my want list in a few more days. In the mean time, I'd appreciate some suggestions for games from my personal collection that you would bid on in a lowball sale from anybody who reads the thread.

Woohoo, magnetic Metroids! You must practice a lot while drunk to be able to recite the alphabet backwards, now all you need is to be able to walk a straight line and touch your nose and you would be set . I second bvharris, I think the raffle is a good idea and I would also throw in a bonus gift for whoever spends the most.

I would only sell games that aren't hard to get again or that you rarely play anymore. I would also get rid of some of your huge collection of guides, especially if you have already beaten the game that they're for. Let me know when the lowball starts so that I can bid the first day:cool:

Its actually fairly difficult to say the alphabet backwards while sober, let alone when you've had a bottle of tequila. Cops don't understand that though.
I think I will have a raffle, just to make things more fun. I will still probably throw in a bunch of pointless ways to earn free raffle entries though.
And I'm starting to narrow down what I'm going to include in my lowball. I'm aiming to have around 100 items in the lowball sale, I'm really just waiting for somebody to buy something from me so I can order some more beads. Once I order some more beads I can start making some of the pixels that I want to list and I can start up my lowball sale. I need another $4 and I can order some beads.
I would definitely try to win that Grandia guide
Okay, I'll throw that in as well, but there better be a fierce bidding war over it. :D

Thanks for keeping an eye out on a Darksiders deal for me. Since I'm planning on buying some pixelart from you anyway just let me know how you would like me to send you $4, it'll be a down payment ;)

Just throwing it out there, would you be willing to trade your PS2 Ghostbusters sealed for my Hotel Dusk DS sealed? I see your DS is dying on you, but I'm interested in Ghostbusters and don't have much to offer :(
Okay, I'll throw that in as well, but there better be a fierce bidding war over it. :D
can't speak for everyone else but I'd say now is the time since the game did just go up on PSN last week

I know that's what leads to me being intrested

Thanks a lot for the offer, but I just sold some stuff on ebay, got $33 for my Mass Effect 2 Collector's code :D
So now I have more than enough money to buy my beads, I just ordered them and they should arrive about Thursday. Once they get here I'll start working on some pixel arts.

Actually, I'd be more than happy to do that trade. I'll get a new DS eventually, and I've been meaning to pick up Hotel Dusk. pm me when you get a chance and we can work out the details.

I figured now would be a good time to list it, and I'm sure somebody else will bid, so I'm not really worried.

I'm always happy to help out a buddy in need. Hotel Dusk is a great game for the DS it helped to have that notebook to jot things down since my memorization skills suck . What kind of DS are you going to get, a DSi or a DSi XL?

I'm not really sure which DS to get, I'll either get a DS Lite or a DSI XL. I haven't really put much thought into it though, right now I'm content with playing Final Fantasy Tactics on my PSP. Sadly I don't think I'm going to have enough money to buy either for a while, the money from the lowball is going to go towards something else.

I just noticed that you really reeeaally like Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSP:lol:, is it an RPG like the rest of the FF series or a strategy game like Warhammer 40k. If you ever get the XL let me know how it looks I have a DS lite and I probably won't ever upgrade since I only use it to play NES games, which the XL wouldn't let me do:roll:

>_> I'm going to have a little bit of pixel art in my sale as well.

Let's still be friends! :grouphug:

Let me know when you get started and I'll link you up as usual. ;)

YAY FRIENDS!! :grouphug:

What are you planning to make for the sale? Try not to have anything too impressive, most of mine are going to be kinda crappy.

And thanks as always for the linkage, I'll be sure to come by and support your lowball as well.
Bump, sadly I may have to put the lowball off another week, my order of beads isn't set to arrive until the 20th :(
I will be sure to look for your lowball list on the 20th then ;)

Nine copies of FFT  Wow, I feel the same way about Tetris but I probably only have four or five copies and they're all for different systems. I used to have a NES system but I traded it and the games in to get new games and accessories when the Gamecube came out. Actually I play NES and SNES games on all my systems, I was very happy when I found out that I could install Linux on my PS3:lol:

Depending on what other lowballs are going on at the time I may have to move the lowball into april. Hopefully not though. At the very least I'll probably wait until dv8mad's lowball is over with so I don't crush him with my almighty lowball of failure.

Yeah, I'm a little bit crazy when it comes to Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm actually still trying to find more copies, I still need the Japanese versions and a sealed Greatest Hits version for the PS1.(My Sealed GH version is pretty beat up and the plastic is ripped in a few spots.) I've also got like 7 copies of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 for the Gameboy color, which is my second favorite game of all time.

I also updated the list a little bit to add in the xbox live codes. I'll say it again here, don't come in my thread and bitch and moan about how I'm selling something I got for free. I just put them up there for now, odds are they will go in my lowball sale in one big lot and I will also give some away as raffle prizes.

EDIT: Looks like Shrike doesn't like people selling xbox live codes from the netflix contest, I removed them from my tradelist to avoid any major problems for now.

April! I'm supposed to go to Vegas on Vacation for a week, hopefully your lowball sale will be happening when I'm at home:pray:.This year Easter falls on April 4th so I was going to visit my brother and take him a Wii Speak that I found for $5 at Wal-Mart.

I also wanted to get a few Pixelart for my nieces for Easter #-o, how long would it take to make a mini Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi and Toadstool?

Hopefully I don't have to delay the lowball too much, ideally I'm thinking of starting it around the 23rd and ending it on the 30th of March.
But it really all depends on when the beads get here, once the beads arrive it should take me no more than two or three days to make all of them and get them shipped out though.
When are you going to be leaving for Vegas?
And just an fyi, I've seen a couple of copies of Darksiders around here at local gamestores for around $45. What system were you looking to get the game on anyway?

I should be leaving for Vegas the day after Easter, I didn't want to deal with traffic :). Go ahead and make the characters I mentioned and let me know how much I owe you.

Thanks for keeping an eye on prices for me :D I think that I'm going to try to get Darksiders for the PS3 if it's around $30 at the GameStop sale that's coming up. Let me know if there is anything that you're looking for. I only have the PS3 and Wii consoles, I play most of my games on my PC. I have a Steam ID and GFWL tag that I can PM you if you play online ;)

I picked up some beads today locally from a craft shop so I could get this started sooner. I'm still thinking I'll start it on the 23rd and end on the 30th. I'll pm you later on tonight about your custom pixel arts.
I think GS might have Darksiders for around $30, if anything they'll have a B2G1 Free sale and you can pick it up with two other $54.99 games for around $33 each.
The only things I am really looking for right now are in my want list, but most of it is just rare rpg's or guides that i can never find.
I'm also looking for a copy of Gauntlet Dark Legacy for the GBA or Monster Rancher Advance if you happen to have either of those games at a GS near you. There like $2.99 each but there is none anywhere near me. And of course if you can find a copy of Ninja Five-o at a Gamestop near you, I'd happily take it off your hands. :D
My computer was made about a century ago, and my internet connection is just about the worst internet ever, so trying to play anything on my home computer is next to impossible. I do play the occasional flash based game off of kongregate, but my computer lags like crazy when I do.

I dont know if you checked out FlabaFlavs (sp?) lowball auction, but he has a copy of RiverCityRansom EX and there arent currently any bids on it.

Thanks for working on those pixelart for me, I'll keep an eye out on those games for you. I'm going to a tradeshow that carries older games tomorrow so I'll see what they have ;)

How old is your PC? I've had mine a little over two years now and after upgrading my graphics card I can still play everything.

I'll get started on some of your pixel arts once I finish with the one I'm working on now. I should have pictures of my latest masterpiece up later tonight, I think it's the best pixel art that I've done yet.

My home pc is at least 10 years old, probably more. I don't really use it for much so I never worried about upgrading it. I hope to buy a laptop sooner or later, but I doubt I'll ever have the spare cash for one.

Awesome, I can't wait to see those pictures ;)

With all the new technology coming out it's a good time to get a new PC for cheap. Let me know if you need any help I'll be building a few this summer so I should be able to tell you what are the best parts.

fuck, I ran out of beads while making my sexy masterpiece!! I'm like twenty butterscotch beads short of finishing it. :bomb::bomb::bomb:
So, now I have to go out tomorrow and buy even more beads, once I do I'll get pictures up.

Before I can get around to buying a new laptop/computer, I NEED a new TV. I'm currently using a 32 inch standard def tv.
And of course I have another more important purchase to attend to, which is where all of the money from my lowball sale will go towards.
Once I'm done with the more important things, I'll look into getting a computer.

Bummer, I really wanted to see those pictures

Is it a 32" monitor or LCD? I usually watch TV on either an older 41" projection T.V. or on my 23" lcd computer screen. I prefer the LCD even though it's smaller because I can watch T.V. shows on Hulu and Blu-ray movies look better on it ;)

A more important purchase :whistle2:k cryptically vague... Do I hear wedding bells :D

I'll get them up eventually, though I couldn't get to the store today since they were closed. I'll hopefully have time to stop by tomorrow after work. Any guesses as to what it could be? I'll give you a hint, it's from one of my NES games.
My tv is the old projection style. I've had it since 2003.
And yes, I plan to propose to my girlfriend, I'm around $800 short on buying the ring, thus the lowball sales. I figure between the extra money from the lowball and all of the extra hours I've been working, I should be able to buy the ring by the end of April, and I plant to propose in June, on the 17th.

Looking forward to the lowball!

I have finally finished my sexy masterpiece!! It stands at around 18 inches tall and took around 2000 beads to make. I'm at work right now and won't get off until around 2, so pictures will have to wait. I personally think it's the best looking pixel art that I've made yet, but I'll let you guys be the judge.

As for my lowball sale, I'm thinking of starting it next Sunday and running it until the 28th or the 30th, not sure which yet. I'll apologize in advance for the general crappiness of the sale, I don't really have many high quality items up yet.

And here are the pictures that I'm sure everyone has been waiting for.
picture.php

Honestly though, the pictures really don't do it justice. My camera isn't capable of capturing all of the awesomeness of my King Hippo Pixel art. :D

Congratulations!

At first I thought that I must be psychic but since I figured you were going to make Jessica Rabbit or Athena I'm guessing that I'm probably not

That's a great King Hippo, now you just need to make Little Mac getting ready to punch him to make it awesome;). I'm sure that your lowball sale will be great just don't forget to make those pixelart Mario characters for me:D

Thanks for the congrats guys, I'm pretty happy about it. :D
I plan to make a little Mac soon, but first I have to make some stuff to sell in the lowball, and of course I need to make your pixels. What ones did you want again? If you could go to this site and pick out the sprites that you want them based on it would be very helpful.
Oh, and You were looking for the Bioshock 2 LP from the Special Edition weren't you? If you were, then I might have a spare to sell you. I snagged two of the Special Editions at Best Buy today with some Gift Cards that I had, I plan to keep one but I think I may just sell or trade the other. I can always sell it off piece by piece if you want to make an offer on the record.

Pic in case you want to see what it looks like:
[IMG-C=6188]12949[/IMG-C]

I want the following characters: small Mario & Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi and Toadstool :D.

I looked on that website but I don't know if you need the characters to be the 8bit or 16bit versions. The small mario that you already have is fine, let me know if you can make pixelart from the Snes sprites and then I'll choose some.

Sorry about that, I need to update my thread because I just bought the limited edition PS3 version today. The total price for the limited edition was $49.99 plus tax, I used the $20 off for reward zone members:cool:.

I already made the small mario, but I'm a bit confused by your phrasing, did you want a small luigi or a big luigi?
I've done a toad before, something like this?

And yes, I can do things off of 16 bit sprites, although doing a 16 bit yoshi might be somewhat difficult because I don't have very many shades of green. I can figure something out though, so just let me know what sprites you want and I can start making them.

I actually just bought two of the LE for the 360 at Best Buy yesterday using the $20 off as well.
