Just because it is a private school doesn't matter - there are tons of private businesses that still have to adhere to the laws when it comes to discrimination... although I'm not convinced that she is part of a "class" that gets discriminated against.

I'm sick of people like him thinking that educated people obviously aren't religious, or that religious people obviously aren't educated. It can be really demeaning to people in all camps.
 
Anyone who goes to college and comes out exactly as they went in obviously got nothing out of it. I'd actually be really disappointed in someone studying the sciences who won't at the very least question religion, even if they still believe themselves. You go to school to learn to think critically of things and question why things are the way they are, not to go in and stubbornly refuse to open your mind.

It sickens me when people talk about the liberal college elite when they themselves went to college. Conservatives do it constantly, as if they were all a bunch of high school dropouts or something. All this when they went to some private ivy league school which if anything makes them part of the "college elite."

My mom is a teacher with a master's degree and my dad is a car salesman who has had a steady job for years.

I do agree though that it is reasonable for her to get fired considering she is working at a christian school and did something against the morals of the school. If this was a public school it would be different.

Just because someone is still religious when they leave college doesn't mean they got nothing out of it either. That's just as bad as someone assuming that religious people can't have education and educated people can't be religious.

1. Donate blood
2. Ride a my bike to the store compared to driving a car.
3. Donate food, clothing, money to various charities. MONTHLY.
4. I pay my fucking taxes.
5. I counselor former drug addicts.
6. I VOLUNTEER to help teach teens and young adults the importance of their civil rights.

So what exactly do you do?

I graduated high school with a GPA of 3.7., I was also my class Salutatorian. I'm proud to challenge the smug arrogant atheist and the things they parrot from their college professors. I'm really sick of you people with your education finaced by your suburban mommy's & daddies, just so you can join stupid communist party crap and act like your changing the fucking world. Any dumb person who has sex without protection, while working in an enviornment where there are children present, especially one that is a pinnacle of "righteousness", and doesn't expect to get pregnant , desveres to get fired. I donate clothes and money to various charities too, I usually ride the bus to class and back, paid my share of taxes when I got out of high school and worked for a couple of years before going back to college. I'm currently a PhD student in Educational Psychology with an emphasis on standardized testing.
