Religulous -Bill Mahr's new religion shredding documentary
-A belief in a God is not logical or illogical, but a belief in the current big 3 religions is a joke.
Just curious.

In your opinion, what are the "big 3" religions?

Generally speaking, the "big 3" are the most prominent western (-ly popular) religions.

Judaism
Christianity
Islam

Just to clarify, the quote there is actually my quote of MSI Magus. Personally, I would refer to the "big 3" as the 3 major monotheistic religions.

*this*

Three biggest religions less you want to count Catholicism separately.
You don't.
You just never know how people see things. I have seen people lump Catholicism in with Christianity and I have seen people seperate it. Technically if you wanted to you could even lump Christianity in with Judaism since Christianity started off as a sub sect of Judaism, it just evolved into what it is today.

As long as we're resurrecting stupid bullshit threads, can more people comment on my 'Gen. Petraeus will run for President' thread? Please?

I though so.

Can't say I agree though. I wouldn't classify Islam as a western religion, and in terms of adherents Judaism has a tiny following (comparatively)

This is also why I always point out that Abrahamic religions are not the whole ballgame. Hindu, Buddhist, and "other" still holds more then a third of the pie.
