Did anyone hear about the new Valkyrie Profile games? Apparently, the PS2 will get a sequel to the original while the PSP is getting a remake of the original.

Note, there hasn't been a US confirmation yet, but I'm sure there will be. Do you think that the PSP version will finally bring down the original games price?

None of those threads make mention of the PSP Remake:

The second title revealed is titled Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and will be released in Japan on March 2, 2006 for the PlayStation Portable and will be a remake of the original PSOne title. hope this is true, i need some new psp games :\, most of the stuff out there is crap anyways ..some good ps1 remakes would be nice
 
My bad, sheepboy_1923, didn't mean to thread crap. I just woke up when I saw the post, and in my state of semi-consciousness, thought it was a repost.

Anyways, I'm glad I sold my VP earlier this week.
 
Right now I would call this a port because there really isnt enough new material to call it a remake.

Not confirm for US release yet, but there likely wont be any announcement until next year.

not yet it was only mentioned for japan
but I am sure it will be released in the states

now if only suikoden I + II for the psp would also be released over here :)
