Master explorer Dirk Pitt (Matthew McConaughey) takes on the adventure of his life when he embarks on a treasure hunt through some of the most dangerous regions of North Africa. Searching for what locals call "The Ship of Death", a long lost Civil War battleship filled with coins, Pitt and his wisecracking sidekick (Steve Zahn) use their wits and clever heroics to help Doctor Eva Rojas (Penelope Cruz) who believes the ship may be linked to mysterious deaths in the very same area.

Okay, this was funny to me since I didn't even know Macy was in the movie. Poor guy. Still being shifted off into unnoticed roles... like The Last Dragon.

I know, who knew he was so hard up looking for work.

You have to be out of your goddamn mind. There's this little movie. It's called Sin City. It is probably the greatest film out so far this year, and may end up being the best of the year.

At least do a gimmick post as someone I've heard of. I don't even know who the hell William H. Macy is.

Oh yeah, whatever happened to Ron Artest?

What the hell is the matter with you guys. William H. Macy is one of my favorite supporting actors, right there with Steve Buscemi and Tom Sizemore. Show a little respect dammit.
;)
Seriously though, I'll see the movie for Penelope Cruz.
Sorry, my friend here says it sucks, and I trust him more than you.

"The whole concept is just too stupid to go along with, and would make the movie bad enough on its own if it wasn't a contender for the most racist film ever made."
Something tells me the book is so much better than the movie. I forget if I read Sahara yet or not. Though on a whole, Dirk Pitt books are awesome. Even though this dude seems to crap all over it, I'll probably still see it at some point if only cause it's based on the book. Though I've heard Cussler is seriously pissed about the movie cause they change a lot it. Though from the commercials, McConaughey is portraying Dirk awesomely.
Gimmick posters are so 2004. It was funny for an hour or two, but it's run its course.
When was he ever funny?
When was he ever funny?
..for an hour or two after he registered, just like I said :p

HE specifically wasn't funny, the gimmick was.

yea, he is a pimp in the last dragon, with those sunglasses. Too bad he could not get the power of the glow, sho nuff

You people suck. Billy macy is the best poster who doen't have the tag of King Awesome on thee forums.
Can someone ban this clown for a week for posting in caps?! :robot:
Why do you want to ban the only celeb on CAG? (besides CheapyD and DLF of course)

It's an honor to have you here Mr. Macy
Also, I notice Mr. Macy likes to take lots of roles where he talks on telephones.
That might make a good drinking game.
I really hope Phil Villareal is not your friend...I read his reviews often through rottentomoatoes and he's probably one of the worst critics there.
He has my taste pretty much nailed. I look at most of the movies I like, and he likes them too.

THANK YOU. I ALSO ENJOY YOUR WORK.

To each his own I suppose, but he often discredits movie for idiotic reasons, demonstrates he knows nothing about movie making, and when he often rates some horrid movies very highly and decent movies very low...Like giving Torque a glowing review and tearing apart decent ones like Pirates of the Carribean and Ocean's Twelve.

Yeah, that's where the pretty much goes into effect. I really liked PotC, so I knew he wasn't perfect. I noticed the unusually high review for Torque, though not everyone can hate every movie that's deemed bad.

Yeah I guess for me it just happens too much and I really dislike his reasoning and his horrible attempts at humor in his reviews. Granted there's others worse than him (like my school's movie critic), but just like he reflects your tastes, he does about the opposite for me.

Alright Willy, a while back you were on a talk show and you discussed some of your major pet peeves. What were the 2 main ones?
Camoor = i am william h. macy
they are one and the same, my friends
Umm I'm not the famous actor William H. Macy.

I'm just a guy who enjoys buying cheap games.

Mr. Macy, I hope you enjoy your time her at CAG. Don't be afraid to post game deals when you see them.

You really should have won that Oscar for Fargo.
