Remote Play: Connection time out

I've got a PS3 running 2.42 and my PSP running, I think, CFW 3.95. I tried remote play for the first time with my new PS3 and I keep getting connection time outs. It'll start and then just stutter and stop and finally quit after a minute or so.

This is NOT over the internet, but within my local network. I've tried using both my router and my PS3 as access points, but it doesn't matter. Any thoughts?

Do you have your PS3 sitting in remote play mode ? Its an option from within the Network tab I believe. I know I tried the other day and had forgot to switch the PS3 over to that mode and that was the error message that I received.

Call Sony, they'll run a battery of tests. My remote play doesn't even work, something to do with a slightly (as in, this feature is the only thing that doesn't work) defective PS3. Since I haven't tasted remote play yet, I don't really care, so, meh.
