Renting a theater for "private" Nintendo event?

If I rented out a theater, how far would some of you be willing to drive and how much would you be willing to pay (to split the cost of the rental, I'm not looking to profit on this) to come and play some Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Zelda Four Swords, Dr. Mario 64, etc., etc (depending on how many people and how much time we'd get, how many people are there, etc..)

Of course, everyone would bring their DS's and what not to play during the downtime and what not...

There's a lot of details for me to work out, but would anyone be interested? It'd probably take place in Kansas City, MO - if anyone is actually interested. If there was something closer to Evansville, Indiana, that'd be better for me... ;)

Hey UncleBob - I'm in Evansville and I'd be interested - I have a few guys who live on my dorm floor (5-7 maybe) who would definitely be down for this - what does the cost for something like this look like it would be?
 
It's all about knowing someone who runs a theater, Im good friends with 2 managers who are 19 and 20, of a theater in Illinois, and weve played mariokart for the 64 on the screen. Amazing to say the least. We had the controllers wired through the porthole.
