Alright, so I'll be moving out at the end of this week and I need to find some cable I can afford. I just need the basic channels so that I can watch sports (ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, etc.) My parents have agreed to pay for my internet, but refuse to pay for cable...so now I gotta find me a reasonable price for a basic cable package.
The two I've looked at so far are way too expensive for my wallet - Comcast is about $46 a month (first 3 months $30) and DirecTV (which we have at our house now) is about $42. I can't pay $40+ every month, so I'm looking for any coupons, promotions, anything. If it matters, I'll be moving out to Berkeley, CA (94704). Thanks in advance.
