What is the best deal on getting an iPod Touch 8GB?

Someone just had them for $218 I think....don't remember where....anyways you aren't going to find much of a deal on an Apple product other than maybe a few bucks off..

Right now on amazon you can get the 1st gen 16gb touch for $240 which I think is pretty good since I bought my 1st gen 8gb for $300.

Only problem is they charge tax for several states.

I ordered a 2nd gen 16GB at amazon yesterday for $269, but they've since raised to $289 and are OOS til end of december.
