Hi. I think that the shooting/ fighting portions in True Crime: NY are really fun, however, because the game is so buggy I dont find myself playing it too often. So, I need help finding a game that has similar shooting/ fighting gameplay, but that isnt so buggy. I have both an Xbox and Gamecube. What are your suggestions? I've posted this in the Gamecube forum also.

Total Overdose? If you like the open-ended GTA aspects of True Crime, they're there in Total overdose, and it has Max Payne style shootouts. And no bugs that I noticed!

Did you actually PLAY TO or just look at it? TO has more bugs than True Crime: NYC. FFS, the pedestrians in TO run into walls and kill themselves when you're walking down the street.

Played it to completion. It was the most fun I had with any GTA style game, including GTA. If a pedestrian wants to walk into a wall here and there, that's fine by me

How? The gameplay in Streets of L.A. is atrotious compared to NYC, and it's not nearly as fun or detailed either.

I'd recommend Total Overdose as well. It's got a few small bugs, but it's still incredibly fun. Just shooting people gets addicting. One of the few games where I actually cared and tried to do all the really complicated combos. I also had a ton of fun just exploring the cities, more so than any GTA.
