request- stream recording program for long shows

Ive been searching for a while and havent found any good free programs to record streaming audio. Does anyone have a tip?

The primary use would be for some longer interviews (20-40 minutes each), so something with a resume feature would be great in case there is a hiccup.

The things I want to record are available for both realplayer and windows media player. Thanks in advance for any help.
