I'm looking for an Xbox 360 controller for hookup to a PC (Windows OS). I would prefer wired, but wireless would be fine as well, I suppose.

Does anybody have any deals on this, or have one they would be willing to sell?

Just buy a regular wired 360 controller, or a wireless and the wireless gaming adapter. Then all you need is the driver from MS, and you can get that here

The 360 for Windows controller is just a regular wired controller with the drivers on CD. I got mine on buy.com awhile back for $21 shipped after GCO. Dont know the current price, though.
 
Wired would be best. You wouldn't have to mess with batteries, the cable is several feet long but strong in case something happens, and it's cheaper (plus, you don't have to worry about losing some receiver and being out of luck).

You can get it for as low as $20! The guy selling it has it in new condition, and he has 1310 reviews. I'd say pick it up asap before someone else does!
 
Thanks for the link, but Amazon doesn't accept PayPal... is there any other way I could pay for the thing through Amazon other than CC?

Uli: Does the normal wired 360 have a USB port that I could plug into my computer? (Also, would I experience lag if I only have USB 1.1?)
 
the wired xbox 360 controller uses USB to plug into the xbox 360....this same exact controller can be plugged into your pc and you can use it to play pc games....you will not have lag with usb 1.1..if you want a good price with paypal buy it on ebay..

So then... the only difference between Xbox 360 for Windows and Xbox 360 Wired is that one comes with a driver CD?

If amazon doesnt require a cvc code, you can use Paypal's virtual debit card.

Yep, thats the only diffrence is the driver cd, but you can get the drivers for free from MS' site.
