looking for anywhere online to buy Resident Evil 2 and 3 on gamecube. I know they are pretty tough to find, and im trying to avoid getting them on ebay. i need to play them to get ready for RE4!!

i am hoping that nintendo puts out some sort of re 123 for like 30 or 40dollars(new, total). that may be a longshot, but who knows.

I am a HUGE Resident Evil fan, but I don't really care for these ports. I did pick up RE:CVX for the GamCUbe however because I found it at CC for $5. I love CC.

Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 are the exact same games as the PS1 versions (no upgraded graphics, no added content, nothing). So why do they fetch for so much??? Check amazon.com!!

how much would i get from mint RE3 for ps 1 come with the demo of umm some game i didn't check yet.

I drove 2 hours to get my copy of RE2. I got RE3 from Toys R' Us. I got lucky it was the last one and I was there to get Metroid Zero mission, must have been fate. :D

You drove two hours to get a port of a game released in 1998 on the PlayStation 1?

Well, I guess that's dedication.

They're actually identical to the DC versions of those titles.
There are a few extras that weren't in the originals (you can play the side game from RE3 without having to finish the game first, for example)

Yes, I must have all the RE games.

The Dreamcast version of RE2 had a few extra modes that the PS version didn't have, like being able to view cutscenes later, and Nightmare mode I think it was called.
So they definatley should have ported the DC version instead of the PS1 version, but they didn't. The DC version is also better graphics wise.

The Dreamcast version of RE2 shares production art, FMV cinema and character/monster model galleries with the PC version. The PSone, N64 and GCN versions do not have these galleries.

The Dreamcast version of RE3 simply has the Mercenaries mini-game and Clare's character costumes open from the beginning.

I got my Resident Evil 3 for 30 bucks like a month ago at strawberries. I picked up Resident Evil 2 because for some reason they had it used(45) at Ebx on black friday during buy2get1free! So that ended up costing me 30 along with Mario Power Tennis and Phantom Brave LE. Your best bet is to try gamestop since(and this is like the only thing they do better than EBgames) they keep titles up even when out of stock. That means you can check to see what stores locally might have them, give them a call and go get it. You can also try pawn shops and such as well

I was working at the EB in cape cod today and found them used for 44.99 for RE2 and 34.99 for RE3. I didnt pick them up because i decided im gonna get a dreamcast for $15 and just get them for that. werent they both $20 when they came out??
