Okay so I recently bought a Resident Evil 2 copy from ebay which the seller had listed as Greatest hits version but he actually sent the one with the black label. It got that Yellow logo in the front cover.

Is this version better? or did he screw me over?

Gamecube never had a Greatest Hits line, it's counterpart was Players Choice. Is this what you are talking about?

I think you got a better deal because you got the original copy of the game. However the greatest hits copy of the Leon and Claire discs are simply black so it is possible he just put them in an original case. If it is the original game I would say it is better. I like originality so I would say you to that you got a better deal. No arrange mode and no dual shock. However if you do like dual shock you may find it a little getting used to but it is still fun using the D-pad. Once again you will know if is greatest hits if the discs are black and only state the names. If they do look like the originals you will easily be able to tell once you play them because it will say Dualshock version when booted up. Good luck to you this is still a great game that I sitll love playing to this day.
