Resident Evil 2 Gamecube $26.99
is gameexpress.com legit?
Yes, I've placed quite a few orders with them in the past. First rate operation from what I've seen.
Has anyone every ordered from that site?
Yes I order from them all the time. It is a very legit site.

I just recently ordered some older PSone titles and got them about two weeks ago.

Hmm... so are we going to see this showing up in retail stores? What will be the list price?

Also, I just realized there is a Pricegrabber $5 rebate! save another five bucks.

Nice, I think its funny that people paid $80+ for this on ebay and now I have the chance to buy it for about $32 shipped. Too bad, I don't want it, but for those intrested this is the best deal I've seen in awhile, since yesterday! :p

Its says everything on their site is new. Capcom should just package 2,3 and Veronica together and make a little money. 50 for the set would be ok.

How is it possible that a giant like Capcom would reprint a giant title like Resident Evil 2 and no one in CAG would hear anything about it until the reprint started arriving at online retailers? That just doesn't make sense.

This is just too ironic that 2 places end up dumping a bunch on the market this close together. Does smell like a reprint.

Sorry, does sound like a reprint. Yeah, seems odd we won't know of a Players Choice version, but if a small store in SoCal was able to secure HUNDREDS of copies, and now another little know website has it for $13 below MSRP, smells like a reprint.

Man, I don't know if I want to buy this now or wait and hope it pops up for lower at more sites.

I already splurged on a used copy of Marvel vs Capcom for the xbox for $34 today.

I dunno if the price will get better though.

Capcom never make an anouncement when they did a reprint of Steel Battalion.

The difference with MvC2 is that Capcom no longer has the Marvel license, so if they wont be making a reprint unless someone else publish it.

I bought Skies of Arcadia for $24.99 when it first dropped in price, but it eventually fell to $14.99, which was kind of annoying. I wonder if the same thing will happen here... or maybe that's pushing your luck too much :) Good thing I have no incredible urge to buy this game.

I think you assume we know too much! CAG know just about everything so don't start flaming me. I am not saying it is a reprint, its just kind of fishy. It makes since for Capcom to keep it quiet, that way they slip more into the market and get more $$ out of them vs. the player's choice route of reprinting (especially when they go for $70 on ebay). Its not like they snuck a brand new game out (RE4) without us getting wind of it. They are just reprinting a old port of a game that has been out for a long time so it could of not gotten any press releases conveniently.

I tried to post this in the other thread, but nobody paid attention to it ... my friend from my old job told me that distributors are offering this baby back up, so there was a reprint :p

Why not release it @ EB or Gamestop, where it has a higher profile and more customers?

They also reprinted Pocket Fighter and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo for PS1 ... not counting the times they reprinted X5 and X6 for PS1 as well eventhough they could have used the GH label they didn't.

I am gussing they will in the future.

It's up to EB and GS to want to stock these. EB did not stock Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo when it got reprinted either. Sometimes they choose to sometimes they don't. They might feel that the money they would spend on this reprint is better used somewhere else.
Its gonna such if everyone gets the big yellow Players Choice version....
Just change the cover :)

My Sonic Adventure 2 Battle game disc that I bought PC for my brother didn't have anything marked on the disc that differentiated it from the non-PC version. Only the cover art was different :p

OMg i'm so confused right now. Should I get it then? I already have it on psone but i want it for its monetary value. And if it is a reprint i'm f'ed. ARE U SURE ITS A PC?

A reprint doesnt mean the game will be PC. Plus the sales for this game isnt that good. Look at SoA:L as an example.
I hope it was republished and the value on EBay plummets.
It looks like that's what's happened. It can't be a coincidence that several websites suddenly have mass quantities of this supposedly out of print game. Clueless resellers will buy bunches of them and flood ebay, I bet you'll be able to snag one for about $20 in a few weeks.
Do u guys think the game will still b worth anything then?
There are like 70 auctions on ebay for this. What do you think?

If this is really a reprint, and Capcom is NOT adding a PC Logo, It won't be worth more then the $29.99. I'm sure we will be seeing this popup alot in the next few weeks (Like the 3 RE2 threads right now on CAG). I assume RE3 will be reprinted as well.

I presume I will be getting this at Best Buy for $20 very soon.

grabbed one and threw it up as a 1 day auction while it's still up there. it takes people on ebay a few days to catch on.

Ditto. I'll use some reward zone certificates and grab the game for like $5.
