Resident Evil 4 Premium Edition

I just got the Premium Edition, and let me say the case is very nice. I think its better then all the other LE cases (Halo 2, Splinter Cell, DOOM). Here are a few pictures
why does leon have to look so metro.
To balance out Chris Redfield's manly-man style.

It's interesting that Ada graces so much of the packaging for this. It's an opposite situation in the Cube version because in the game, she appears mysteriously here and there and you don't even find out who it is until halfway through.
That's so nice looking! Anybody know how you can get the 10 rebate at ebgames? Is it in the ebgames catalog or online?
I asked, the rebate is only for the regular version. that makes it $29.99 compaired to $49.99. Tough choice!

RE4 is already being touted as a classic so I'm going to sell out a little extra for the premium package. I can't wait to play this on halloween.

It's a good thing they added 5 hours of gameplay to this one and gave it a cool case, cause this definately isn't the greatest port. The sound is terrible compared the the GC version, and the enemies faces look pretty bad too.
It doesn't look that worse, and it has more shit
Actaully it is the GCN cutscenes are real time as were PS2 are rendered. And that LE case for PS2 is the best looking LE, or CE case I have ever seen.

I know what the cutscenes are. That doesn't stop the enemies from looking like ass.

No one else has this shitty sound problem?

yep, sounds like they downsampled it a lot. the guys in the village sound like they were recorded on an answering machine.

Thank God! I was starting to think I had a faulty disk. Playing with a maxed out Black Tail and Striker have spoiled me. This shit is hard now.

I second that. I want it just cuz it looks awesome.

MY friend showed it to me, and I have to ask, is it just me or did they focus on making Leon look nice to try and take focus off of how muddy the background visuals are? I mean, maybe it's just because I haven't played the game in a while, but that's the only way I can describe it. They did a good job of rendering Leon, but everything else is just, I don't know. I need to pull out my cube version so this will stop bugging me.

So not only does PS2 get an excellent port of GCN's best "exclusive" but it also gets a better Premium Edition? That thing makes my Gamestop Collectors Tin look like scrap metal.

I actually think gamestop's case is better, I like the crimson red feeling which kind of fit RE style. Simple yet sends a strong message about this game. Only flaw is that gamestop logo. I wish it's not there.

PS2 premium case is nice too of course, probably the best PE cases out there but to me it would fit better for games like final fantasy or something. If they could use this case design, but paint it all dark red or Black, with silver logo of RE4 on it... it would have been awesome imo. I noticed all those import collector edition got uber nice cases.... all look simple but very classy'. This Ps2 CE just got too many color on the cover I think.

Damn that gamestop logo. Else it's perfect to me for the gamecube version

For some reason I never payed much attention to RE4. Played this at my friends (PS2) and was blown away. I think I'm going to find a GC version now
