Ok I'm sure many of you are aware of the TRU GC with RE5 purchase. Now upon reading BB's price match policy it states this:
How do you handle a price match if an instant gift card is included with a purchase?
The value of an instant gift card with purchase will be considered when calculating a price match. If the combined value of a competitor's product and instant gift card is lower than the combined value of Best Buy's product price and instant gift card, Best Buy will match either the price or the instant gift card value, depending on the offer.

So does this mean they will also give me a GC or with they match the value with GC and give me RE5 for $40?
 
my Best Buy is just going to take 20 dollars off the game and sell it to me for 39.99. Some Best Buys give you the gift card for 20.00 and sell the game for 59.99. It really just depends on your Best Buy store. It is best that you call your store to confirm how they will handle this offer by Toys R Us.
 
Thanks for the info. Worse case scenario I guess is to buy it, get the GC, return it, and re-buy it with the GC. A lot of work but you'd still be saving $20.

Im pretty sure if you return the game you return the GC
 
Ok thanks guys, I found a Best Buy store that will sell it for $40. It take a little, I had to direct him to the online page over the phone, then it took him about 15 mins. to talk to the store manager. Nut ultimately the manager said they will sell it to me with a $20 discount.
 
Yeah, I did the price match at Best Buy.

At first, the lady at customer service said they did not price match items with gift cards. So, I whipped out that page from their site and that ended real quick. Took 20 bucks off.
