That's what i'm holding out for unless word comes out you can buy the DLC to make your copy the Alternate Edition as well.

Yep. Capcom has already announced that all of the Alternate Edition will be available as DLC. According to http://www.siliconera.com/2009/11/19/see-the-new-resident-evil-5-alternative-edition-costumes/ , the DLC will cost a total of 15$. Add that to the cost of the VS mode dlc, and you get 20$ for everything extra after RE5.

So $45 for buying RE5 off newegg plus DLC, or $50 for the Alternate Edition when it comes out. =P

We all know that no one here in CAG is going to get the game at $50.

Its only on the disc if you buy PS3 version, the 360 Alt edition is a DLC voucher that comes with the game
