Resistance 2 CAG Clan/Night - Get yo ass on! - Friday Nights @ 7PM PST/10PM EST

I reminding everyone again, I plan to start a party at 9pm EST. If no one shows up by 9:30pm EST - 10pm EST, I may quit the game.

If you are not in the CAG clan, you will not get an invite (unless you are one of the special people already on my buddy list. ;) ).

We'll play for 1.5 hours.

I've got a copy of this I haven't bothered to open yet, I'm going to. Just out of curiosity, how does the campaign hold up to R1s? I already know what multiplayer is like (BETA) and I enjoy it, I just want to know what campaign is like (Is it fun solo, or do you need others in Co-op to make it fun?)
 
I was on tonight, and got an invite from Inf_Shini, but he dropped offline shortly thereafter. I didn't know if anybody was on, so I was already in a co-op game.

I'm going to be playing this more now. I've neglected it up to this point, and I really wanna get my levels up there like I did with R1 (I think I got up to about level 52 or something).

The single-player campaign in R2 is a blast...much, much better than the first game.

If you like Halo type of games, you should like it. Let me say that the single player in R2, is VERY different from R1 (I mean VERY different). No longer do you find health packs and no longer are there stills telling the story. Co-op is in a separate mode (one downfall for some), but I still really enjoyed single player (It's on the short side, but bosses are fun).

I will try R2 tonight, but to let everyone know now, don't be surprised if the night doesn't really start until 10pm EST. The reason is that's when most show up.

That's fine. I'm trying to get through the campaign on difficult right now. I wish I would've known that you have to beat it on difficult to unlock superhuman because I would have played through it on difficult on my first play through instead of normal.

Finally got around to playing this. Does it normally take a long time to find a ranked match? I has no problem joining a find a game for no xp but it never located a ranked match. I'll sign up for the clan as well.. psn catsrus
 
I'll sign up for the clan tonight. 10pm is ok, but since I'm old man river and like to go to bed at around 11, I might drop out then.

Well, I will start a game at 9pm EST, no doubt. I MIGHT look into playing for 1.5 hours, then getting on really late tonight to play again. I know of a few new people who may want to play early. I may also invite some college friends in to fill up slots, if available and they are on.

Sounds good, I'll be ready to go by then. If we're doing co-op, I was most interested in medic during the beta, so that's the route I'll be taking. If it's competitive, I'll be getting my ass handed to me all night :D
 
I played a 20 vs 20 deathmatch last night against 19 snipers.
Wow, that was really cool.:roll: Everyone else on my team got creamed.

I'm also EST, and 10pm is fine for me. Lets me get some bidness out of the way once I get home from work, and then I kiss the world goodbye and starting kill Chimera and saving the universe. All in a day's work.

I kept trying over and over again to restart the party to get you in, then since I did it so many times with no luck, I just gave up. :whistle2:( Sometime when I get around to it, I'll send you a PM to see if I can help out with your network connection (I have a feeling there's some issue with it).

That was a lot of fun and I was glad to have the party filled most of the time. :D I do apologize to mkernan to already having the party full when the game started, and an invite was missed to kklems.

It was fun for the over 2 hours I played, but I'm so freaking tired due to lack of sleep.
 
Not bad for my first resistance CAG night. I was the one saying fuck every time I died which was a lot.

Staging could have gone a little smoother. either people kept backing out or there were connection issues. I think the last time Mana had to go back to the lobby at least 4 times before everyone got in. I thought it was funny as hell.

All in all a great experience. It makes Wednesdays all the more complicated because i usually play with CAGs in GTA IV.

[/QUOTE]Like I said before, what happened was every single time we went to staging, every single person joined the party just fine except for bballplaya210. For some reason, he was never transferred to the lobby. One time I accidentally backed out and 2-3 times someone else did. I kept trying to restart over and over again because I wanted to get him and everyone in the game together. It wasn't just this week there was that issue, happened last week too. But I'll work with bballplaya210 on it. If there wasn't a problem with it, the night would have been the smoothest ever during a CAG night (sometimes the party gets a little shaky and I have to re-invite people).
 
To let everyone know again, CAG R2 is tonight. Make sure you sign up for the CAG clan. Once you are in, I can invite you to the party.

APPLYING FOR CLAN:

To get in the clan, please go to Community -> Clan -> Search Clans.

Use CAG as the Clan Tag and you should find the clan, then apply for the clan "".

Hmm I REALLY want to pop on tonight, haven't had my PS3 online for a couple of weeks. So I'll see if I can drop in for a hour or so before I have to head out. Thanks for reminder.

Mana Knight, I'm not going to be playing tonight but I'll send you a PM before Wednesday to try and get my connection figured out for the next CAG night. I don't know what's wrong because that doesn't happen with any other game.
